Kobomb10 SVU is probably not so good in HC (slower fire rate and higher recoil for no good reason - you don't need the SVU's higher damage). Actually, I think MR-28 is the best for HC.

This gun made my k/d go from around 2.8 to 3.79, this and the MK14 were actual monsters. Using this gun probably alot more than driftor, I'd say always, ALWAYS use stalker, and CBQ worked fine with me. The problem with Driftors in depth episodes is he doesn't really use the gun that much. Some good memories from Ghosts. Miss it.

I have to say that the IA-2 is my favourite marksman rifle. Great guide/review as usual, Drift0r, although, for my play style (tactically aggressive), my current class works out best for me. The class is: IA-2 with Red-Dot and Muzzle Brake with the Denny/Triad reticle. The perks I run with this class are: Ready Up, Quickdraw, Dead Silence, Off The Grid, and Hardline. A great class for tactically aggressive players who flank a lot. My Strike Package for it is Assault, although it's not a full package. It's a SATCOM with Riley/Fluffy. I hope that anyone who uses this class enjoy using it and do well, and, again, wonderful guide/review, Drift0r.

I always find this gun to be the most well-rounded of all the marksman rifles, and no matter which other ones I try to go for I still end up going back to the IA-2. The fire rate, though it can be oversampled, isn't too bad, and I find it to be almost more controllable in terms of recoil than the MR-28. Cool vid, thanks Drift0r!

I never experienced the oversampling but i did notice that when ever I spam the trigger while ads the rifle will jerk upwards or to the side randomly, has anyone else experienced this

Ready up/quick draw/sleight of hand/agility/focus. One I.E.D. to cover your six. Silencer and red dot. Dog/trinity/hind. I use this set up with the IA2 and I play quite aggressively with it. As long as you control your engagements and keep them at medium range, this is a beast of a set up. And you can still spam the trigger pretty hard and it's brutally effective. I've yet to over sample it, but I limit my spams to 3-4 shots. Just try and round every corner ADS. If you wanna have really stupid fun with it use muzzle brake and pick off snipers clear across stonehaven with ease.

Hmm.. I don't see why people think patrolling is the same as camping. Camping you mostly sit in one spot that usually isn't a key area and patrolling you take over an area on the map which tends to be a key point or a choke point on the map.

To whom is actually good with its default scope, try this out: Muzzle Brake + AP Rounds Sleight of Hand, Quickdraw, Scavenger, Focus I use Gold PDW cause I'm Master prestige, but if you're not use P226 with muzzle brake Assault Strike Package: IMS, Sentry Gun, Vulture

The default scope on this weapon is actually my favorite scope in the game zooms a bit farther than acog but sights in quick. Give it some time. Wish it was an option for some other guns.

i can play very aggressive with this gun, i cant really camp with it. i prefer running stalker instead of quickdraw. and if you would have actualy tried the ia2 hip firing, youl notice that youll win gunfights even against ARs

I think that hipfire is terrible no way are you going to win many gunfights hipfiring against auto ARs. Maybe steady aim would help a little bit.

nope i pleyed with this gun the last 3 weeks and didnt use steady aim, the thing is that whenever i dont have to aim i can shoot faster with my trigger finger. i mean sure i dont win all the time, but compared to the other guns ive played with like the vepr or the cbj-ms, i have way better chances of winning a gunfight

On the next marksmen rifles you do can you talk a bit about the default Zoom. I'm pretty sure they are all slightly different. Oddly im pretty sure the order from least to greatest zoom is, M14, Mr28, SVU, IA2

Personally i find the IA-2 very effective at all ranges with the standard optic, muzzle break and AP rounds it is one of my extremely aggressive classes that i use when i doubt my team. I almost always pull off the victory dropping maybe 20-30 kills in tdm with it easily.

My favorite gun. I disagree with you about it not being good at close range though, especially if you can quickscope, because the time to kill if you get a good double tap is way faster than an assault rifle and maybe even better than an smg. i always run quickdraw, scavenger, steady aim, focus with extended mags and silencer

The only problem with any cod game is people get mad at the only two things you can do in it. Camp or rush. Not to mention that you can't just sit here and play the game one way. you need to be able to adapted to survive. Don't run just the same class over and over. Try new things.

i love this gun on PC, its my most used gun. i use red dot and ext mags, ready up, quickdraw, scavenger, focus, stalker. I run it with support in DOM, going for caps and rushing B and people (its easier to aim on PC so you will kill people in 2 shots before they even see you). just my opinion but this is a gun that, with good aim, will out-shoot any other gun at almost any range (except snipers on Stonehaven and stormfront across map, because of the recoil).

fire caps require more control but you can still shoot fast as hell if you can control your trigger finger. i love the ia-2 because of its likeness to mw3's mk14. ghosts' mk14 not as good
