we have been to the isle of wight several times and had fantastic holidays each time, every holiday is made better by the numurous ghost tours found all over the island,very entertaining and highly recomended ;o)

Just popped up this video, so abit late i know , there is a ghost that walks on a public footpath behind freshwater court wich run up to Hawkridge farm where the lady walks to , , i believe her name is rose and she wears victorian dress, who sadly died in a train crash in the 1800s ,

Used to live on the Island, where my parents lived in Newchurch up a tiny lane, there were loads of sightings, even my mother, the biggest sceptic ever, experienced two!

There was only my parents bungalow and the old village school in the lane, the school was divided into two houses. The neighbours closest to Mum told her they were going away for Christmas, on Christmas morning Mum opened her curtains and saw a little girl in the top bedroom window, so she assumed that they’d changed their mind and had visitors instead. She mentioned this to them next time she saw them, but they said they definitely went away! On another occasion the same neighbours asked her and my Dad to come round to see something strange in the garden. There was a circle of distinctive horse’s hoof prints in the lawn, no prints leading either up to or away from the circle. There was always a large turnover of neighbours in that house, no-one stayed for long. There were a few tragedies linked to the house.

He mentioned a "Floating Head", which was seen soon after a prisoner was executed at Parkhurst Prison, They did not execute prisoners there, they were sent to Winchester which was a hanging jail.

Northwood House. Sounds like that may not be supernatural. Those sounds could be due to subsidence, problems with foundations etc. Call a surveyor.

I live on the island, and me and my family where at ventnor batanical gardens. We where just coming back from a wedding and we saw this dark figure standing in the dorrway of the building. It looked like a nurse that was very faint and she had a long White dress on with a red and blue apron. We don't know if someone was dressing up or not but then when we where walking down a hill at the bottom was a man in a wheelchair he looked really ill, we went down and he was gone. Do u think it was real? Or someone messing with us? If you could let me know that would be good!!

Hiya, without being there myself and experiencing it for my self I couldn't really give a fair guess as to whether it was a spirit or a physical being, all that really matters if that you're safe and nothing bad happened to you.
