Hi, living in Gosport Hampshire and myself just starting retirement we just happened to be flicking randomly through Utube vids and hit on your video, when you were in a pub in Winchester my wife Julie said "what was the name of the pub I proposed to you all those years ago in Alton, I could not remember it's name, but the next moment you were stood outside the the Crown Inn in Alton, how spooky was that...split timing or what. Regards Tom...

in 1997 i went to work in northern British Columbia. we rented a house and the landlord asked me if I could check the sump pump in the basement to make sure it was working once a week . I said ya no problem, we had a small dog who followed me everywhere, I tried to get him to go into the basement with me and he wouldn’t go . he went into other basements before , so I picked him up to take him down and he went crazy, scratched up my arms trying to get free , I sat him down and he ran into the living room terrified, I didn’t know why . about a week later my wife got a cab home from shopping and the old cab driver said to her as they drove into the driveway oh this is the house the man hung him self in the basement. we were there for a year and didn’t experience anything paranormal at all , but the dog stayed clear of the basement door.I thought about it when you mentioned the dog and the fireplace. excellent stories Richard keep them going. Hi Richard, great video. The dog ghost story interested me. I would like to suggest that perhaps the dog was buried into the furnace as a charm against evil. Wytches on Portland, Dorset put a dead cat into the wall of a cottage for protection against evil. 😊

Dog story.... Animals can sense where other animals have died. My uncle was a hunter & trapper. He was deathly ill. Given six months to live. He decided to spend his last days doing what he did as a young boy to survive. So he went to AK and lived off the land- for another 20-30 years! But he said animals that died in a trap - that area was now marked. He couldn't use it again. But dogs and other animals for sure can sense the paranormal. Grandpa gave us his guard dog before moving back overseas. His dogs worshipped the ground he walked on and adored him. This dog was like a ninja- super quiet and all work, no play no complaints, and guarding us was his last mission for the next 11-12 years! About 4AM one early morning he began to cry inconsolably. My sister finally got him to go to sleep again. At about 8 AM we got the call. Grandpa had passed 4 hours before.

Lady Alice Lisle is one of my ancestors on my English side. Ill have to go to see her ghost tell her to rest in peace sad story. Ironically the Duke of Monmouth is also an ancestor on my English side. I am mostly Ashkenazi Jewish but my mothers father was mostly English and has the most exciting ancestry in my tree. Great video. James was a bad man a more enlightened man would have spared an elderly woman who did him no harm.

i think you see old ghosts more than modern spirits because the people today do not believe in god as much as they did in the old days if you think about it they would be more afraid to go to light. afraid of meeting their maker and wondering what will become of them

I think Richard is a recording who refuses to stop mentioning this recording theory which is not original to him by the way. He never sees any ghosts because they don't want to talk about his recording stones either.
@codyt8213 ай бұрын
He has never claimed it is his original idea, and even mentions the tv movie where it first appeared, in one of these episodes. Why does it bother you that he has his own theories about residual haunting? Tape theory is a pretty popular one too, he’s hardly the only one who subscribes to it. None of us really know any way. Unclench mate it’s gonna be okay
@eyemmersive11 ай бұрын
Stone tape theory? What tosh. Geologically-speaking, molten rock, like lava, can retain the orientation of Earth's magnetic field once it cools, but there is no way that cold stone can record anything. More-so, what would be the "trigger" that would cause the recording to play again on the date of the incident, or if the atmospheric conditions were the same? Repeating numbers or other "facts" over and over again doesn't add any veracity to whether or not they are true. It's just repetition for its own sake, and to add some drama where there isn't so much. Finally, can whomever is running the camera please find some other way to get out of a scene other than panning to one side or the other while Richard Felix stands there like a mannequin? Fades or cuts in editing wouldn't hurt.
@codyt8213 ай бұрын
None of us really know when it comes to such things, it may have some validity it may not, it’s just a fun theory that’s been popular for decades, ever since the stone tapes first aired in the 1970s. You’re getting this quality storytelling and history for free, so maybe try not to get upset because the scene doesn’t transition how you like, Jesus Christ man, unclench. It’s gonna be okay I promise
