In 2014 my doctor told me over the phone at 5 pm on Friday (at my work) that I had kidney cancer! I was floored. Next thought was “Thank God my kids are adults (25 and 29). They can survive on their own. Thank you God.” That was in September. In December I had my surgery and I am still here. I thank God for my blessings, I am happy to be able to enjoy every second. I am grateful for the so called little things in life like being able to breathe, eat, drink, have digestion, walk around and do all the every day stuff. One does not need to be rich to enjoy life. There is so much good stuff around, one only needs to look and listen. I love and enjoy my family and my two little doggies. Whenever I face a problem I ask my angels and guides for help to nudge me into the right direction. I trust.

Our health is so important and something money can’t always buy. I have a friend, a trust fund baby worth millions, who is slumped over in a wheelchair. She would trade every last penny to be healthy again. 😢

When I was in my early 40s I was sitting in my living room writing in my journal when I heard, "Go outside. You have an appointment." The voice was so insistent that I got up and stepped into the backyard and sat down where I was told. The moment I was settled I heard a tone and everything got very bright and I knew I wasn't alone. I looked up and saw someone step toward me. I realized standing before me was someone I knew was Jesus. He smiled and said, "Bless you, sister. You are loved." He nodded and smiled again and moved backward through whatever door he'd come through. Since then my life has shifted.

I lay in her room for 5 days as Mum died, it was traumatic. Not an easy passing. She was here at home, where I'd cared for her for around 8 years 24/7, and was medically supported but it was a bad passing. We were alone together
