Dolpa and Phoksumdo (yep, not a spelling mistake) were always on our bucket list. We finally did the Dolpo Trek this year. The 12 day trip consisted of crazy road trips at the beginning, trekking through vastly different landscapes and flight back home which offered some spectacular views.
One of the best views and the bluest clearest waters that we've ever been to. But what makes it even better? The people. Yes, the people might be one of main reasons we want to go back. They make you feel at home away from home.
And yeah, not to forget our drone crash. The drone recovery was a experience on its own as we went over a cliff to get to it.

Guys, we need to correct Nepal Government's Mistake. The lake famously known as Phoksundo is in fact called Phoksumdo! Let's address the beautiful lake with its correct name! Share this video just for this reason. If anyone you know says Phoksundo, stop them and correct them, everyone deserves the right information , 😂😂!

Bro , i think these comment boxes are here to put down your individual opinion, and necessarily sabai ko opinion same hunnu parxa vanya hudaina ; that's how the world works. Your opinion might not make sense to me, and mine might not make to you. So, rather than saying someone what to do, what to think, respect everybody's opinion and take stance for your own. I think sisan's work is not as good as it used to be and liked these guy's work more than sisan's. Thats why I criticize sisan and praise ghumante; if you don't think so, then you have another comment box to put down your own opinion. Cmon, let's break this stereotype, we have right to choose what we like, and freedom of speech to criticize what we don't like. That's how these guys grow as an artist and can show us better work in future as well. No hard feeling for you bro, I respect you love toward sisan.
@dakingrai4235
@dakingrai4235 6 жыл бұрын
..and why do you think these reply comment box and dislike button are there? Let us hear your thought on that too. Talking about breaking stereotype, why don't we break the one where we criticize and discourage someone who actually tries to do something. You can always give constructive criticism and encouragement to both groups.

Awesome place & video too. Love from Mumbai. 😍 Untouched beauty . Nepal has worlds' best spots to visit. Only lacks effective approach from Government to increase tourism in Nepal. At least basic vegetarian food with stay facility can increase the tourism industry in Nepal. Transportation facilities are worst which could be improved by decreasing the Taxes on vehicles & can put the toll tax for road/bridge construction. I have visited Nepal many times, Majority of people are so nice,humble & friendly. We are always willing to visit Nepal other than ktm, pokhara but due to lack of good roadways, food & also renewal of vansar is also one of the major concern for us so that we have to returned in time. Hope nepal goverment will do something to increase tourism. Just writing visit Nepal 2020 will not increase the tourism some ground work should be done.

We pay around 300% tax in vehicles...if we have to buy vehicles of 5 lakh then we pay 15 lakhs as tax. After a long political instability nepal we just got a stable government and now nepal has entered in the era of development. Soon it will become one of the great destination for tourists

seen lots of vlogs from nepalese vloggers n only vlog i have seen repeatedly is this one n the reason for watching this again n again is not the views or scenes shown but the voice n the way of talking n words used. seems like i am as well talking to this presenter n roaming around dolpo. even there r lots of documentry n vlogs related to far west including this place. I hardly appreciate to the vlogs on youytube but u made me appreciate u Man. If u continue to spread ur words this way Im cent percent sure u will be punched by the tremendous quantity of subscribers. all the best guys.

This is an absolute gem of a video...Nicely shot, narrated and edited. Although, would have absolutely loved to see some drone footage but we know what happened there....Nonetheless, the effort all of guys have put here deserves much appreciation and I thank you massively for showing us the real feel of Dolpo with such finesse. This trek has been in my list for years now and Yes, definitely someday I would be there.

Hey guys. Thanks for the awesome trek coverage. It's really motivating! Could you please add the tentative hours spent walking/driving each day? That would be very useful in planning to do this trip myself.

Haha, yup! If you ever come across that restaurant, don't eat there, haha! We support Nepali businesses but this is height of carelessness and arrogance! Even though it has a red sticker, the buses still stop there for lunch. The drivers and staff get special treat and maybe even cuts, so they don't care if its good or bad.

Oh wow, that's great to hear! If you are visiting during the Bhadra month, then this trek might be the best option for you! According to the locals, Bhadra is the best season to travel as Dolpo usually doesn't get heavy rains during monsoon unlike other parts of the country. And there's greenery, flower's blooming everywhere.

Thank you Ilisha. From your list of visited places, we think you haven't gone trekking yet. Why don't you visit Phoksumdo lake? Its pretty easy to get there if you go by air. Rara lake can be another destination. Mardi Trek, Poon Hill, Tinjure Milke Jaljale Trek in the east, Khopra Trek are other good options too.
