Thanks man, but the views are pathetically low. My Joe knowledge is low too, so I understand. But yeah, only once in a while can I afford the time for nothing in return aside from the fun of making the video.

That dark blue Cobra Commander isn't from the comics. See, back when Classified started, most of the characters were designed to have a near-future sci-fi aesthetic that the more vocal and ... let's say not a fan of change segment of the fandom threw a fit. A GI Joe video game came out shortly after called Blackout that used those same designs, so most people started calling the early designs like that CC the Blackout design. The game apparently isn't that great, and sold poorly. So after the complaints about the figure designs and the poor sales of the game, Hasbro started hewing closer to the original ARAH 80s & 90s look.

I didn't have a problem with the updated designs. ARAH started over 40 years ago, and most of the fans are 35+ who grew up with the toyline and Sunbrow cartoon. Kids aren't playing with toys like they used to and don't have any attachment to GI Joe like we do. They have to appeal to a wider audience because once those Generation X/Geriatric millennials stop collecting, who will buy GI Joe action figures?

I think they should do both lines... a retro line and a modernized futuristic line. I would buy both.

Classified is lowkey the best line in its price point. I'm glad it's less popular since that makes it way easier to get the damn things compared to Legends and Multiverse.

If you love the movie it's an iconic figure for how short he was used on screen, but undeniably his time with Roadblock stole the show on escaping Cobra La and surviving. I mean I cry every time Roadblock temporarily loses his eyesight.

It sold out in about a minute! You can only get it from Pulse EU, which is a shame because so many people wanted it. I've wanted a figure of this Cobra Commander since 1987.

5:20 I believe the teeth are his lips. They were white in the movie, and if you look closer, his actual teeth, the fangs, are sculpted. But they aren't painted. That along with white missing on the bottom lip makes the paint for the mouth look unfinished. Also, the paint on the left side of his mouth doesn't line up with the sculpt because it's higher than it should be.

My only complaint (and it's minor). I wish it came with a Roadblock head sculpt with his eyes whited out. This thing is awesome

when you take off the vest it has the same hood markings as the snake on his back. also that's the wrong version of roadblock

GI Joe ARAH lost its appeal to me with the movie, Cobra-La, and the retcon of Cobra Commander being a humanoid snake instead of being a human being. For that reason, I didn’t bother trying to get this figure. Hopefully, whoever wants him gets him.
