I see the Cobra Vipers as having more extensive tactical training & experience than regular Cobra Infantry Troopers who just know the bare minimum to be competent. There are more standard Troopers that are basically cannon fodder while the Vipers are fewer and a more dangerous lot. The Vipers would be equivalent to Delta Force Operators in the Cobra Organization. Now the Crimson Guards would be the most elite of all, their numbers smallest but their war fighting capabilities at the highest level. They are the most intelligent of the Cobra Teams, making them very useful to Cobra Commander who is so extremely emotional he needs their support & skills when necessary. My take ;)

My take is and i know its not official but the crimson viper is just the combat gear of the crimson guard. Where the regular Crimson Guard is there dress uniform.

I imagine that these gius would have to be Crimson guards first then have additional training to be certified as a Viper making them as a double threat. Or the best of the best.

Why there is different colours... well there is some I do wonder about.. Like Sonic Vipers or the Purple one. so they more they add the more head scratching it gets. As it stands my personal take (Headcanon) would be this : Cobra Island Viper : Viper stationed to Cobra Island for general patrol and occasional Vehicle crewing Cobra Viper (3 pack version) Stationed for expeditionary duty and occasional night operations (thus the darker uniform) issued with slight different gear than a the base rifle. Cobra Viper Officer : He's an Officer but seems to be colour keyed to the 788 Fire team colours so might be "Battlefield operations and control" with relation to logistics of battlefield activities related to Vehicles especially Hiss Tanks and SMS systems and later on the Stinger or Stun Crimson Viper ; Auxiliaries attached to the Crimson Strike team specifically and also performing secondary duty roles in association to the Crimson Guard, may also have a supervisory role over Crimson Bats singularly or in small groups, may be have better training over all. They may be factionalised to Cobra or to Serpentor specifically depending on the loyalty of the Crimson Guard. But may have a strong association to Tomax & Xamot or the baroness's operation needs and take orders from them not from Cobra overall (mostly) Python Patrol Viper : Stealth, Infiltration and defense of more secure facilities ; They exist as Destro and Darklon have a fancy outfit to sell with sensor dampening properties. May be as a rule more likely to be attached to mission involving Destro or Darklon or Join operations with the Iron Grenadiers they also later are attached to Major Bludd specifically and are "usually" personally loyal to Cobra Commander not Serpentor. Cobra Troopers seems to be designed to spend some of their time out of uniform more so than a Viper and so despite the less advanced gear they actually may be seen as in some sense higher up. But i know a lot of people prefer to ignore that and have Vipers higher than Cobra Troopers in the ranks. & I can't say I blame them to be honest. What with Vipers being the filter into sub types of Viper to follow like Televiper, Technoviper, Range Viper etc.. It is a very hard question to answer who is more useful to Cobra Blue Shirts or Vipers. I tend to avoid the problem entirely by rarely mixing them. ------ As for the Goggles, well maybe they are a back up in case their electronic visor malfunctions and the auto polarisation breaks. Or they may be some extra protection if they are say operating Missile systems from flash blindness, if the visor doesn't adjust instantly they may want to put the goggles down. Their Soldier of the Future style helmets might be a bit tetchy so an old fashioned analogue back up might be wise. Overall they look better with them on their forehead than without to me.

What oil did you use, heating figures didnt work ?
@209edd Жыл бұрын
Traxxas Oil, Shock (30 wt, 350 CST, 60cc) (Silicone). Add in waist and then put him upside down for a day ..so it can work it’s way in the joint

I got three of these and only opened the one. He has minor issues dealing with articulation. That's one of the things I absolutely do not understand. They have been using the same articulation engineering for years. How can it suddenly not work? What I have noticed in the past year and a half that the SHOULDER joints are getting worse and worse. They cannot T-pose because the shoulder joint is frozen. No amount of heating or lubricant solves the issue. Something inherent in the circular hinge doesn't allow the joint to move. Because of that, the figure LOSES a point of articulation :(.

This whole wave seems to have problems you got a decent Firefly but I’ve watched other reviews with him being very loose one had a gap so big in the waist he literally put Firefly’s remote detonator in between his stomach and his belt. Tunnel Ratt’s neck loose and jiggling way to easy and the plastic is horrible. I already told you about my Crimson Viper with the extremely loose forearms and the plastic they used was gummy like you pointed out. I returned them got my money back and will definitely skip this figure and most likely this waive I haven’t received Firefly V2 yet but I have a bad feeling about it being as gummy as this Viper. Nice review and explanation on the Vipers.

@@ShutoStriker I received mine last week both had the issue hasbro is trying to cover it by placing his gun belt over it. Pull the gun belt down where it’s supposed to be worn not above his belly button you’ll see the gap and his ab-crunch is really loose mine leans forward without the belt up so high good luck with yours.

@@90lancaster thank you I’ll definitely try that my issue is more of them (Hasbro) releasing a final product for sale with all kinds of QC issues that’s wide spread and not recalling the figures to fix the problem customers have. As it turns out that entire wave had QC issues I now have received Firefly V2 and it to had all the problems viewers reported. I promptly returned them waiting on replacements I refuse to live with inferior product in Hope retailers will complain to Hasbro about returns of their products.

@therealunclassified Жыл бұрын
@209edd I meant as the vintage and 25th. The cobra island ones had the nerf guns. Figured by now they'd fix that and give him the correct one. Hopefully we can get weapon packs in the future to fix things like this. I grabbed 5 of these the other day buy 4 get 25 so got one free. That was in the morning before work. After work I stopped at a target and got 1 and a vipra and got 10 off so got the vipra for 15.
@falcon048 Жыл бұрын
@@therealunclassified I get that. When I first got the Vipers I switched out the guns for Valaverse weapons. But, the more ranks of Vipers I got the more I wanted uniformity. So I had to go BACK to using the nerf gun.

They are mining Dark Energon to power their weapons and vehicles so I have no issue with them using some "Energon Weapons" like the Trooper and Viper have". so long as they have the logistics to reload / refuel the things. That is part of the reason I see the 3 Pack Vipers as possibly an expeditionary force as they use some conventional guns too. The Dark Energon weapons might have a more useful variety of setting than Bullets have, though perhaps shorter range. The generic sidearm (that lacks any place for the magazine) is likely an Energon Weapon too.
