Thank you Dr. Eric! I recieved your email and was able to find your video using the title easily. It is because of your book and changing my diet based on your recomendations 3 years ago I was able to rebalance my hyperthyroid! It changed my life and I experienced relief for the first time since I was a child. It had gotten so unbearable I didnt know if I could endure any longer. My hyperthroid caused me to have extreme hyperemesis during the first trimester of all 4 pregnancies, resulting in so much vomiting I required medication. I lost 20lbs each pregnancy, which is severe because my normal weight all my life is a thin muscular 130lbs at 5'6 tall. I lost my third baby at the end of the first trimester. I am so incredibly grateful that I found your book in the first trimester of my last pregnancy. I was able to stop the medication and the vomiting ceased. I cannot thank you enough so Iv shared your book link with as may people as I can.

very good. I have candida and some sibo,but i think the underlying cause is h pylori. my doctor tested my blood for h pylori and it came back negativ. I dont trust this. I dont digest my food have chronic nutrient deficiency and low stomach acid. Weight loss, extreme stomach pain,bloating,constipation, smelling gas ,skin issues,hair loss,low ferritin,b vitamins,low fat vitamins and now i am dealing with low thyroid function

Hi! I found your helpful video after getting my results. I’m working with a functional doc but the result we were most surprised about was my anti-gliadin IgA off-the-charts high at >500. You mentioned you’re not really sure how reliable this is? (Also my Secretory IgA was >6000). I developed idiopathic neuropathy almost 3 years ago now and feel like I’ve been self-destructing ever since. They tested me for Celiac in the beginning (without telling me beforehand, so I might not have had much gluten in my system at the time…) I came back negative for the two genes but I’m wondering if it’s worth going back on gluten just to get a better diagnosis of my sensitivity, or should I just strictly never eat gluten anyway? (After all these years I still don’t have an “official” diagnosis, other than a few antibodies on an early Sjogren’s panel that doctors say isn’t conclusive enough). I understand your job isn’t to diagnose, just was curious your thoughts :) I never knew gluten was so complicated! Thank you!!

Not officially...I have avoided gluten as much as possible ever since, and when I re-did the GI-MAP about 6 months later my numbers mentioned above were both down significantly. (Anti-gliadin was still considered "high" but in the 200s, and secretory was normal at 1200ish!) So, I am continuing to not eat it which I know is better for me, but hopefully I made the right choice and am not being too unnecessarily strict for the rest of my life...
