I saw them on this tour, the 'Colour By Numbers' tour, just a couple of months before this at the Brighton Conference Centre, October 1983. They were at No 1 in the UK with Karma Chameleon, at the height of their popularity, and Boy George was just about the biggest star in the World. The atmosphere was electric, and they put on a fantastic show to which this video can never fully do justice. It really was a night to remember!

George had captured the hearts 💕 and love 💕 of so many people around the world 🌎🌍 and most people really don't know but Boy George was as big and talented as Michael Jackson and Prince. The many different looks shows Boy George as many faces, also these looks were to show the world 🌍 how and who really was the karma chameleon in time. Often hiding his true natural beauty behind his make- up because as I know make- up is a powerful tool! I love the many Boy George 💞 faces then and I love 😘🤩 them even more today, 11/11/22💕

My mom loved him so much and shouted "love you Boy George" and he responded live you too. Lol. She passed 3 Septembre 2020. Miss her so much. We were living in Germany when they first started. Fell in love with them and his voice...first song. Dad kept asking me...is that a guy...you are sure? Yes I said...you know...am 60 now and still love them.

So true.Listening to those songs now, makes me want to ask questions about how they put songs together because I am so impressed. I know George wrote lyrics but I wonder if he had a certain tune in mind. I know they all contributed . Musical genius together, those guys! They were all so young. Alot of musicians have long hair. George has a wonderful voice and presence. Let’s be real, we first fell in love with his angelic voice but then he’s an attractive man. I heard some upsetting (old) news about him. Then I remembered that I can look up on KZbin to my heart content ALL the BOY GEORGE I want to now! 😂. Only God knows who we are. He causes all things to work for the good of those who who love him and are called according to his purpose..

Well I'm 54 now and I went to see Boy George and culture club in concert here in Toronto at the what was then. maple leaf gardens what is now today "Loblaws" grocery store and the other half is the mattamy athletic center for Ryerson University students and for private rent by the hour ice hockey rink. Many world famous people have passed through those doors and performed some of the most wonderful memories for me as a young teenager. Boy George and culture club was the second concert that I had ever gone to, the very first concert I went to was Madonna. I believe I was 13 then, any year later I saw boy George. I loved him as a teenager I thought he was great, he was controversial and outrageous and I love their music too. It was a very different time then opposed to what it is today obviously. Music was raw, in every song that we heard had a significant story behind it. It carried a melody aneurysm in some catchy tune that made all of us sing-along and dance to. Unlike today, where music basically can be produced by anybody you don't even have to have talent just the proper technical skills to edit you're off tune or off voice and for that they have synthesizers and electronics did you make your voice kind of like Britney Spears, never mind any song having a story behind it or a meaning, it's just had to have a catchy tune that rhymed whether it means anything or not who cares as long as it sounds sketchy and people pick it up is how music is today. When I watch concerts like this it reminds me of how things in the way they used to be. I grew up in a very special time during the 80s and early 90s, life was so different than. We didn't have cell phones we didn't have computers, cassette tapes and VCRs and we had to put a big huge tape into a machine to record things if we wanted to watch our favorite Rockstar or popstars where we would record their videos from television shows like Toronto rocks electric circus and much music. We know how to communicate back then and whenever someone was talented you can rest assured it really was talent and not something that they just learned off of KZbin video that was catchy or a trend everything was raw talent unlike today.. people who didn't grow up in the 80s really missed out in life. We became really tough strong people with thick skin. There was none of these politics with oversensitive attitudes are pronouns where they don't know what they are.. what you see is what you got whether you like it or not, tough ! deal with it. Get over it and let's move on. That's how things were back then. I wish it was like that still today it would be a much safer intolerant society. Boy George and Madonna stand and represents for a lot of that add a different time, in a different place, and if you didn't grow up back then you can't relate.
