This guy has been able to change the minds and hearts I think of every Yankee fan naysayer. A truly hard-working, focused and humble superstar ballplayer. I have been a critic over the first couple years of his contract but he has made huge improvements and his reaction to failure is truly down to earth and courageous. Booed all the time by we obnoxious, spoiled Yanks fans, he simply reacted by saying things like, "yeah, I would have booed me too if I'd been watching"....thus endearing and taking all the wind out of our exasperated blow-hard sails until he got better and better and until we saw that in his hot streaks he carries the whole team and even when not hot he still is a leader on the club.

Real fans did not boo. Now Gallo on the other hand, those boos are well deserved.
