The top cover display is nice along with the wired remote & multiple plug ins. Three Beefy 800 watt transformers & the entire case is the heatsink. The only thing I didn't see was if if had any internal fuses.

Now you have a good inverter. Been running them for years with No problems in my camper trailer and Ute. You should have got a bigger unit if you wanted to run more than, 2000W. You're not going to blow it up. Very well protected unit.

its a nice inverter indeed! love seeing the engineering as these get batter and better!
@adivasworld7466Ай бұрын
Thank you. I was shocked it stopped at only a little over 2,000W so i checked the spec, it supposed to be able to handle up to 2200W peak so in my mind, you really only get the continuous wattage rating of 2000W. Your vid confirms that too.
@GoingOffGrid101Ай бұрын
it was fused for 2200w inside, I'm guessing thats that rating.

16mm² is approx 5 AWG. Doubling up cables reduces AWG size by 3, so 2 x 16mm² = 2 AWG

Why don’t you use the a/c terminal on the inverter? You aren’t going to get enough amps to run all of those appliances without it.
@GoingOffGrid101Ай бұрын
@@msantacruz430 I was definitely pushing the outlet to the max and then some.

How can I make solar system and power bank at Nissan Leaf??!!🤔 🤔 ⁉️ ⁉️
@GoingOffGrid1012 ай бұрын
you can hook up a inverter to your 12v battery on the leaf and leave the car running and it will charge the 12v battery at 70 amps, this way you can use up to 500w with your inverter.

You got to get some thicker wires between your batteries so you have less of a voltage drop. that or your batteries are actually falling flat on their face.
@GoingOffGrid1012 ай бұрын
yea 100% that will be on the never ending list :)

Yeah, running 2 kW at 12V is just nuts, unless you're really really stuck. We all know that 48-60V is a sweet spot for average demand. Large cables are expensive!

@@GoingOffGrid101 Would be interesting to see. I got a Reliable 3000/6000 inverter last year based on yours and David Poz's recommendations a while earlier. I added it to a box of 48V scooter batteries on a trolley and can use it to charge my Tesla with another 21 portable 100W solar panels... Bit of a hassle to set up and take down, but it works!
