Hello Guys, I just found out this video. I have a question. Is it possible to tweak the car BMS so that the battery won't be charged unless it is under 50% ? I am starting a paper about if we charge a car battery from other source (eg. from home grid) instead of the alternator, over the year how much we could save fuel + carbon emission.

High frequency, transformerless inverter like these off a poorer surge capacity and a much shorter life expectancy than modern low frequency, transformer based inverters. Even worse, during a catastrophic failure of the control circuitry the can dame your AC appliances because they lack any galvanic isolation between the inverter's DC boost stage and its AC output. No thanks.

Not only did the filter clean up the spikes, but it also helped the inverter stay in the correct frequency range. Without the filter the freq dropped below 40Hz several times. With it, I only saw it drop to 48Hz twice, and mostly stayed 55+hz. So this filter not only would help the inverter out, but it also helps the inductive loads out as well, keeping them from overheating
