@@GoingOffGrid101 being 100% off grid is not that easy even here in australia. though much easier than in the "US state of canada". one of the things you might look into though is using the waste heat from the generator to heat the house or hot water tank. you would need a water cooled engine though.

I wish they would make a stand alone, 3,000 watt. I bought the inverter/charger planning to Mount it in my rv, but decided to build a portable power supply instead. The problem is that type of inverter weighs about 50-60 pounds, so add 3 x 100 amp hour batteries and the box will be at least 120 pounds, and my body can’t pick that up anymore, lol. The inverter/charger is also much, much larger, so not good to pack into a roll around tool tote. I really need the 3,000 because I want to be able to power my camper when I stop to rest, even fire up the AC for a nap, heat something in the microwave, or make some coffee, lol.

I'm running around checking panels, combiner box, and going crazy to find what's wrong with the panels! Well - the battery was nearing full (didn't even think to check) and that Midnite entered float a little stronger than the others. Nothing wrong at all :)

that about the 48v well pumps, I have been looking into moving over to one of those, no inverter needed and not surging lights. lots on amazon. also about the price of a inverter unless its a deep well then id just get a 6000w genetry or magna lol I think the 3000w reliable might start it but not sure. also you can get a soft start for your well.
