high frequency inverters rarely start heavy loads. you would be a lot better off with 24-volt or 48 volt low frequency inverters with a larger capacity. i utilize 8000-watt lf psw split phase in the usa. also, bolt down the connection for a secure connection with large enough cables is a must. use 4/0 cables and lugs if you can from the battery to the inverter. i hook everything up to a heavy-duty copper bus bar. put a class t fuse on the positive cable. extension cords always are bad connections. and a lot of jumper cables are not actually copper. use copper cables with hydraulically crimped-on lugs. the only way to go.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have the same Reliable 3000w 12v inverter in your video. I hooked it up to 2 x 120ah lifepo4 batteries to it using 1/0 wires from each battery. So 2 x 1/0 wire per terminal, same equivalent to a single 4/0 wire per terminal. I was able to pull 3000w with a hair dryer and a heat gun on the highest settings with no problem (without the terminal block). My inverter stayed at 118v with minimal sag. I always encourage people to oversize their wires, because it was stressed to me when I was doing my build. What wire size were you using on the Reliable inverter when you try to start the compressor? I think you should try it again with the terminal block on the inverter. I’ve seen another youtuber open this unit and pointed out that the wires are bigger at the terminal block. Good luck.

Yeah but... I mean, you're trying to start a high draw compressor on the lower power outlet of the inverters. Add a hard wired outlet to the high output side and you'll often have better luck. Not to say every time, but in many cases, anyway.
