For the record the Orochi XX is the middle rod and the Destroyer is the top of the line rod from Megabass. The Levante is the entry level rod for Megabass which mimics the powers and actions of the Orochi XX. Thank you for the review of Megabass. I'm fixing to upgrade my spinning rod and reel. Megabass was on my list along with the Crews rods. Looking at Daiwa and Shimano reels.

What you plan on using it for? I use it for Neko and Ned rig with a Stradic 2500FL.

@@shorefishingontario use it for the same technique as you are. I'm looking at the Shaky head for dropshot.

I'd go with the Whipsnake for dropshot. It has a faster taper than the shakyhead rod. It's also lighter than the shakyhead rod as well.

It all depends on what techniques you're using it for. Each rod has different tapers and powers be able to do a select amount of techniques. Thanks for watching!

@@shorefishingontario would you say the whipsnake has enough backbone to set the hook on a ned rig with a weed guard? Btw nice videos I subscribed 👍

Most definitely yes. I've stuck bass with a ned rig with a NED EWG with it on 7lb fluorocarbon. It's weird to describe the power. The power is between a medium light and medium and the taper is fast enough to be an extra fast but closer to a fast. It's a great rod. I appreciate the sub!

I prefer the whip snake over the shakey head and I throw shakey heads on the whip snake
