His humility, his hard work, his selflessness, his effort, his grit, his will to win, his fair play... You don't get players like him any more, and probably, you didn't get players like him before. He was a legend in Sampdoria, gave them scudetto tilte in 1991, despite having 6 or 7 great teams in Italy, especially " Grande Milan ", after that he shined with juventus & Chelsea .. As a Man Utd fan that grew up in the 90s you couldn’t but help love this man, his goals, humbleness, finesse the list goes on. I will forever remember watching the Tromso game on channel 5 and seeing the warrior score goals in unplayable conditions. Todays footballers looking for a role model, inspiration need to look at Luca if I was a striker playing professionally I would be emulating his skill on the pitch and be unplayable like this hero.
