Last season, lebron tried his heart out and almost lost twice in the playoffs, with a worse team. This season east is by far better than last season. Raptors are better, 76ers are better, bucks are better, Celtics are better, the nets are 100% better, pacers are doing amazing without oladipo. The teams in the west that you thought weren't going to make the playoffs, made the playoffs, and the teams you thought were gonna make the playoffs, didn't make the playoffs. Remember, nobody thought the clippers and trail blazers were gonna make the playoffs. You underestimate a whole conference, because of one player, who is considered to most, to be the greatest of all time. That isn't fair. The only reason the west is better, is because of golden state, who are considered the best team of all time. Use your logic.

he shoots 30 times a night to get those points and the refs definitely give him A LOT OF BS foul calls. A good chunk of his point come from FT line (he leads the league in FT's and by a lot too) and he's not the best defender. For me, MVP means whos the player that is the most valuable TO ANY TEAM in the league aka whos the player that could go to any team and immediately make that team a contender/improve their team the most. In terms of who's the most valuable to their respective team, yea its most definitely harden b/c of the rockets system which is built completely around him having the ball in his hands as much as possible. However, if Harden were to play in another system/on another team he would not be putting up these numbers AT ALL, not even close and I dont think he'd even be in the conversation of MVP if he was on another team. Giannis could go to any team and would put up the same numbers he's getting now and lead them to wins. His play style works in any system. If there was a draft RN I think every GM would try to draft Giannis before Harden to start their team which is why he is my MVP. I still won't be mad if Harden gets it though, hes been playing his mind out all year and it would still be well deserving if he wins it. Rockets and Bucks play tonight, I think the outcome of this game will make it more clear who's gunna be the MVP. If Harden can put up big numbers tonight and WIN than I might have to change my mind and say Harden should get it.

I think Giannis' defense speaks for itself, and...James Harden was never known for his defense (no offense to James Harden of course) TEAM'S SUCCESS - The Bucks have definitely been a better team this year than the Rockets, and that should speak to Giannis' leadership Then again, I think both of these guys aren't concerned with the Regular Season MVP Race, I think they have their eyes set on the Finals MVP, that's why I respect them and hope to see them both in the NBA Finals this year (no disrespect to GSW fans, I still think they are the favorites this year with KD, I just want to see someone new)

I'm going w/ Greek cause 2-way ball playing domination on both ends is way more important in my eyes than someone whose simply just an all around offensive player. I'm not really a J.H. fan like that cause his game is kinda basic & boring in my opinion. Also, it's funny how he puts up all these stats during the regular season but always chokes during the post. Harden isn't doing anything special from any other offensive player out there. D. Booker is constantly dropping 50+ but we hardly ever talk about him. Greek deserves it this yr. w/o question.

Chris Broussard hit the nail on the head. Completely agree with his argument and I like he brought up the 11-14 hole Houston was in in which James was a part of, which is over a quarter of the season. For his consistent greatness throughout the entire season and the fact his team is doing significantly better without an overwhelmingly talented supporting cast, Giannis deserves the nod.

If you factor in efficiency, Giannis is the definitive favorite. 58%>44%. A 14% differential is much, MUCH bigger than you think. If Giannis misses his next 387 shots, he will have the same shooting percentage as Harden. Think about that.
@ryancox75775 жыл бұрын
Dulo Ciskela literally 90% of his shots are either right under or right beside the basket. His percentages are expected to be higher. When you’re the facilitator of the offense, your efficiency is going to be lower because you ALWAYS have the ball in your hands, everything starts or ends with you each time down the court.

Jordan 2. kareem 3. Magic 4. Duncan 5. Hakeem 6. Shag 7. Kobe 8. Lebron 9. Bird 10. Wilt The reason why I have Wilt and Bill Russel (11th) at the bottom is because the level of competition in their era.
