James Brown Jr VA II I haven’t watched the whole clip yet so my point might change, and Shannon is being biased in my opinion. Everybody defending Lebron by saying he was 4th in the west before the injury, they were 2 games out of 9th place early in the season, seating really doesn’t matter at that point, so that’s a terrible argument defending him. Lebron is a great player, no one will deny, but Lebron became that successful guy who was always in the finals after he joined another superstar twice (wade and kyrie) with a strong third option (bosh and love) Lebrons most notable trip to the finals was last season as he didn’t have a superstar next to him anymore, although he was still in the considerably weaker east.

13,000 more minutes, 100 more playoff games and over 3,200 more 3pt attempts but just passed MJ in scoring 2 weeks ago. Let that sink in while you consider MJ was a guard who played mostly in a big man era.

With players like john starks, stacy augmon, rex Chapman, craig ehlo, less athletic reggie Miller, undersized joe dumars, Leonard guarding, you should avg 30 a night and that's a few players from the east that teams made the playoffs during the early/mid 90's....no competition

Bottom line. If I had 6 tittles from 2 three-peat I have the right to play less minutes. If you are 3-9 in the finals chasing my accomplishments you have all right to try and out do me in every other area. Most minutes and point in history cant make up for rings.

If LeBron's stats don't equate to wins, why does it matter? Any other player that has a great season but misses the playoffs will be talked about as putting up hollow numbers. With 30 games left in the season, being 1 1/2 games out of the 8th seed, the 8th seeded Clippers trading away their top player, and a young Sacramento team also chasing the 8th seed, there is NO EXCUSING the Lakers missing the playoffs. If anything ppl are finally seeing exactly what everybody was saying about the East being weaker than the West. LeBron easily dominates the East for years then transitions to the West AND HAS HIS BEST SEASON yet misses the playoffs.
@TheKevvu5 жыл бұрын
lmao lebron lonzo and ingram played 23 games together..
@jesuscarrillo79525 жыл бұрын
@@TheKevvu what point are you attempting to make? If I'm right in my assumption, you're saying that the 3 together for the whole season would have changed the outcome for the better. Lonzo not playing affects very little when someone like Rondo is his backup. They're play styles are similar enough to where you don't have any drop off in production. There's even the argument for Rondo being better i.e. "playoff Rondo" Ingram has been with LeBron since he returned from his groin injury....the same 30 games I mentioned earlier. And he played better than when the Lakers had the 4th seed. No excuses.
@stephon41125 жыл бұрын
Thank you someone with some sense and who also is unbiased because the clippers don't have a all star and traded everyone away and look how they playing and Sacramento are a bunch of kids with no veteran leadership but they compete hard every day but I get the lakers not competing with lbj attempts to throw them under the bus directly or indirectly by trying to trade them for ad then you add injuries to a certain degree and it's a good disaster but it's true he got exposed for being in the cake walk eastern conference now they know what kd went through before gsw with just westbrick as backup
@wehireblackmen59195 жыл бұрын
sir they had 3 starters out most of the year. Ingram and Lonzo and Rondo stay missing games. So i guess he has to carry the whole team with no help and a coach who shouldn't be a coach
@jesuscarrillo79525 жыл бұрын
LeBron fans will really find any way to defend or excuse him. Here's a word that may be foreign to his fans -- context. For instance, they had 3 starters out for most of the season IGNORES the context that was just laid out in my previous post. Here's more context -- only Lonzo has been absent from these last 30 games where they could've made a push for the 8th seed and his replacement is just as good, if not better, than him. Can we talk basketball like we actually watch the sport??

LeBron has been in the league since 03. Kobe was seen as the guy up until 2010. 2011 to 2016 was really his dominant period. LBJ has always been a stat nerds dream that's why numbers can lie. Even in 2011 Dwade was the leading scorer on the team in that year's playoffs and he didn't really start falling off until the end of 2013. LeBron is the Wilt Chamberlain of this era. No one's saying LeBron isn't great but people really moved the goal post for greatness when it comes to him.

Nah, it's basketball those boys know how to play. Lonzo went out and that hurt their defense. They traded Zubac who was valuable defensively and low-key offensively too. Injuries all round. Like Rondos. They are bad 3 shooters. Their ceiling was probably 7-8 seed but injuries really sold it. And bad personnel

@@Jay-fc9mk Kobe himself said it, the Antony Davis would have made the necessary change to get what and who is better than AD in Lakers was a necessary option but I do not know could now it turns out that all the fault is LeBron must be more objective to the time to point out, LeBron has everyone used to having to drag bad equipment to the limit and that can not keep happening, I will trust the directive for this summer.
