GIannis plays in a very physical way, bulldozing through opponents and makign the most of his physical gifts. Jokic plays with finesse and silk, using his shooting and playmaking as ways to beat opponents. 2 Big Men, 2 overseas players with global appeal, 2 contrasting playstyles that would match up really well, and most importantly 2 guys who led the teams that drafted them to their first titles in decades. Both family oriented, and Giannis has an amazing rags-to-riches story that deserves its own movie and Jokic went from the overlooked 45th pick who was drafted during a Taco Bell commercial to dominate the league. That's a rivalry that SHOULD be marketing gold in an ideal world, but the media is still hanging on to the story about whether or not a 40yo would be a good fit alongside a 36yo in a team that beat him thrice in the finals out of 4 attempts. Its crazy lmao

Even in the 2023 finals when he wasn't shooting that well, MPJ still managed to be useful by committing on defense, crashing for rebounds, and not shying away from shooting. I still trust the core that has reached the mountain top more than this duo, and will until this duo really proves me wrong. For me Giannis biggest achievement is denying CP3 a ring. 😂😂 In the last play of these finals is the reason why. CP tried hard to push Giannis to hurt him landing after a big dunk. That guy is so dirt.

Honestly if I were a player on a contending team, I wouldn't even be able to pretend that winning the mid-regular-season cup means anything. The confetti and the trophy would really annoy me.

Love you skap but this will either be another Finals appearance for jrue holiday or outright a 3rd championship the disrespect what he has brought to the Celtics in terms of leadership. Dame the king of the first Rd and regular season he's put up numbers before. All of a sudden a 14-11 team gets to be glazed to astronomical levels screw the slow start.
