He is literally the most impossible to hate player in the entire NBA. Everything for him is about respect. Family. Religion. Hard work. Harden last year when he won it felt like he was all swagger about it. Like it should be handed to him. All this week everyone talked about how Giannis isn't the real MVP it's Kawhi. I know MVP is just about what you do on the court - but Giannis is just a special person. You can't do anything but have respect for him and love how much he really cares about this accomplishment but isn't satisfied. How much appreciation and tbh, respect he is putting back into what the MVP award should mean. If the fans, media, your own peers say you are the best player in the world, that should mean something. I get that media has shifted to Kawhi because he won the title. And I get it. Of Giannis and the bucks had done it instead you know the narrative already. Doesn't matter. I don't know how anyone dislikes this video.
