Sara I forgot to say, I hope your family is doing well you said they're in Brisbane I think? My Dad and his wife live 3 hours north in Tin Can Bay and I'm so glad Queensland has managed covid so well. I'm in NZ so I can't visit him, I was lucky to see them last Feb on my way back from Korea and Japan my mate and I were lucky to come home when we did. I hope everything calms down so we can see our families safely soon. Thanks for making content and keeping us smiling ❤❤❤
@hojusara3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Marika! Yes my family’s in Brisbane, I’m so glad Queensland’s done so well too! It makes it a little less stressful being away from them knowing that there’s been hardly any cases. How difficult being stuck away from them! I feel you 😭 I’m so glad I got to see them for so long at the beginning of last year. I think I’d be besides myself now if I hadn’t. Reading you message made me smile so much, thank you for watching my videos :) and may we both be able to visit Queensland safely soon.

There's a place in Charlotte NC, Queen City Tea Bar, that has a Queen size that's super huge. I don't know how big exactly, and it certainly doesn't come in a cute water cooler bottle, but their tea is really good! On a similar tea note, have you guys ever tried Harney and Sons brand? So good, best chai I've ever tasted 😊😊

1 liter, that is the dream. I wish they serve it here at the tea places. But you can't make the sugar zero at the tea places here, they brew it from real tea leaves instead of the powered stuff. so you get the really earthy taste also and it's over powering even with sugar.

5000 won for a full bottle is so cheap!!! It costs like $6.00 for a milk tea here, and if we want the larger cup size, we have to add $0.50, and another $0.50 if we want any substitutes instead of pearls (like jelly, aloe, basil seeds, red bean, cheese etc..)

Is milk tea literally just chilled tea with milk? I have never had bubble tea ☹️
@solitarelee62003 жыл бұрын
Depends, but for bubble tea like this it tends to be tea (normally black tea) chilled, with added milk and sugar syrup (altho as you see you can have it without the sugar) and any other additional flavorings. It can get really fancy, but you can also make it at home without much difficulty! There are tons of recipes online. These days you can even buy the tapioca pearls online and have them shipped to you, or even the "popping" bubbles if you (like me) don't care for tapioca! (I've bought from poppingboba in the past, but it's bulk lol.) I hope you can try bubble tea yourself, whether bought or made at home!
