I heard this when they posted it...I used to live 5 minutes from that Chuck E. Cheese. I drove by it an hour and a half ago, and lived out of the Motor Lodge right next door to it for 3 days. I always contemplated going in just to be an ass, and maybe trigger some nostalgia... wow. Now I totally need to go inside.

@@Zafarnama111 I eventually did with my little niece and nephew. It was every bit as depressing as it sounded, and yes, literally every baby-attention-grabbing "game" as well as ski ball and basketball *all* gave four tickets, no matter what. It was torn down just before I moved out to Washington state, so about 3-4 years ago.

@@Zafarnama111 interesting how you necrobumped this... Two weeks ago I went to Golden Corral with the whole family. It was NOTHING like the ones out east or I guess when I went maybe a decade ago. First, it was in a mostly empty mall (barely any shoppers). Second, no chocolate or butterscotch fountain. Third, the sad, Grey carpet. Fourth, the employees who obviously would rather be doing _anything_ else, including being robbed at gunpoint. Fifth, barely anyone there eating... only about 5 or 6 parties, and TONS of empty dining space. Sixth, no wooden furniture or anything with personality at all. Seventh though in summer, no teens working, just adults you could easily clock in their 40s to 60s. The first thing I though when we sat down was "ew, same exact vibe as that dead old Chuck on 1&9"

@@Virjunior01 That's the first time I've heard of the term, necrobumped. I like it. It's crazy how a comment from years ago can be replied to and an answer received. I love your way of writing, gave me a few chuckles. I've never been to a Golden Corral. The closest I got to it was when I was staying at the now closed Wyndham Orlando Resort, International Drive. I did plan to go to the one nearby but it never happened. Writing these comments has reminded me of the power of the Internet to connect people from thousands of miles apart. And has taken me back to the late 90's when I first surfed the Web. Thank you for the nostalgia trip and I look forward to reading more restaurant reviews of yours lol. If I do ever visit a Golden Corral I will post my experience here, if I remember.

Sounds better than mine. There's no real video games it's all like fakey Bullshit. The only non-Chuck-E-Cheese branded game at it was a version of Deadstorm Pirates that you have to sit in the floor to play.
