I know this is 2 years old, but a Duke Nukem game where you play as a young lady soldier who thinks Duke is a complete idiot, but Duke dies, and slowly over the course of the game after killing hundreds of aliens, she starts to act more and more like Duke as a coping mechanism. By the end of the game she's smoking cigars and is a complete asshole, unwittingly becoming everything wrong with the world she lives in, a la Johnny Rico in Starship Troopers.

Yeah, I'll vote for this. 100%. I hate all the Duke games, except the side-scroller one that nobody plays. And that got quite good reviews actually.

The problem with the dumb Giant Bomb take on Duke Nukem is that they ignore that most of what they say Duke is about is ONlY from Duke Nukem Forever.
