You have to read the Shades of Magic series ! It's so good 💕! The first book is quite fast-paced while in the second, there's a lot of character developpement and character introspection.

If you go to Florence I HIGHLY recommend to go to the Uffizzi Gallery! It's so worth it! Also if you want to see the David it's in a separate museum and book tickets in advance! I went to get them and they were booked for four days past the day I was there. Il Duomo is breathtaking and the Ponte Vecchio was also great too. Florence is amazing though it was so incredible I hope you enjoy it!

I really suggest watching the Phantom of the Opera movie THEN reading it. Or looking up a story wrap up kind of thing about the original story. I love the original story, of obsession, possession, naivety and manipulation - seeing that the Phantom is really the villain and understanding the underlying story is incredible and so far my history with the story and play has made reading RoseBlood extremely exciting. X

In Florence... definitely climb the Duomo. It's worth it- unless you're claustrophobic. And eat at Il Mercato Centrale Firenze. It was some of the best Italian food I had in all of Italy. :)

I really recommend series by Jo Nesbø with Harry Hole in it. It is a series that has 10 books, the 11th is coming this year. It's a detective thriller and I lve it sooo much so I thought you'd like it too. :) At the moment I'm on the 6th one

maybe you should try and read the original classic novel of Phantom of the opera and then read roseblood, probably it would make a difference if you understand the concept of the original book. just saying because I liked the original so much, there's also a movie with gerard butler :D
