Late to the party… dad duty… but once again an awesome episode. I really appreciated sticking with elevation to finish what they started last episode. The spot and stalk turned to “chase and sit” method was well represented with elevation. As well as scraping which hasn’t been used very often on the show. I really appreciated the emphasis on how effective scraping can be. But with the issues as far as the other teams perfectly shows the hardship involved with each hunt. This show is the only show I’ve found that adds the realism to the expectations of a hunt. This show is absolutely the best. Thanks guys for sharing all of this with us!

That was just pure outright awesome! I know that hunting is about more than just the harvest. But when you do everything right and the bull reads the script. You make the shot and then get to watch him go down. There is nothing like it! I'll be 63 this next hunting season and I hope to get to experience this a few more times.

I am very grateful for all the work you all put into Elk101. Not only is there a plethora of knowledge and experience, but there is a philosophy in the way you all live and speak about hunting that has taught me volumes. I frequent Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear (RMS Gear) in Denver. Quite a few of the staff there are trad bow hunters. Have you thought about having some trad guys on the show? Tom Clum Sr. of RMS Gear is a lvl 4 olympic archery couch. What he has taught me with form and technique has been like mana from heaven. Learning trad has changed my game when it comes to shooting compound. It would be very fascinating to hear see how you and trad shooters interact on a hunt.
