i loved how this godzilla is basically just a big, confused animal in the wrong place. its not aggressive unless provoked or something is in its way, it doesnt stand and fight. as soon as its attacked it runs and only gets aggressive when cornered. it was just lookin for somewhere to lay its eggs like a normal reptile and got caught in a bad place and a bad time

I remember watching this movie as a rental on my TV. It was so dark that we couldn't see what was going on. I saw it 10 years later. They fixed the movie's contrast & brightness. I discovered that it was a decent creature feature.

I liked this a lot, way back when. It caught a lot of gaff from people because it deviated so much from the 'standard' Godzilla, but I thought it was a refreshing take on the original that stands on its own merit, without diminishing the original and its many many sequels. (Edited for Grammar.)

Godzilla don't always have to look the same. And I mean this movie is just so good. But tbh it's better when Mr. Brain Junkie tell the scene even if it was a spoiler or not. While people in the community may hate this or some like it (like me). It was an enjoyable movie, from when I was a kid to now as a grown adult. I do love this movie. It has its flaws but at the same time it's very entertaining. I do like godzilla's design in this movie. It's very unique because of the fact that it looks like a dinosaur with dorsal plates. And I'm actually glad that there are a lot of people that are giving the 1998 godzilla a chance.

You know tbh people Over hate this film a lot because Godzilla aka Zilla does not look like Goji but who cares!! Its still a monster movie and just because his design is different does not mean its bad. The movie good, i I liked the part where Zilla was chasing the helicopters (First Trap) because it shows zillas speed and agility and it was like a cat and mouse kinda thing lol.
