I know this is a late reply! If the water is owned by the council 99% of the time you're allowed to fish for free under the rules of a general rod licence. If you can't fish that water, there will generally be signs around the venue to say so. I always have a good check before I chuck my lure out, just to be sure no angry farmer charges at me in a land rover with a shotgun lol

Suggestion for you guys: I primarily follow your channel and TAfishing with Graeme Pullen for fishing videos (mostly carp and lure fishing) and whilst I enjoy both channels equally, you often have quite different approaches to similar problems. I'd love to see a collaboration video involving your channels meeting up and fishing the other guys locations and methods for example and then vice versa. Anyway, keep up the good work in inspiring some of us to get out in the grim depths of winter, it is appreciated!

That pike was beautiful! I still haven't been able to break into the 20lb range yet in all my years. If you get a chance to do some ice sessions for pike or even bobber fishing, try using hot dogs. Pike LOVE them! Great video gentlemen!

There's a small stream flows through and under Redhill, Surrey and then into River Mole. For ages I thought it was too shallow for decent fish but found one deep hole fishable through break in tree cover. Using chunk of king prawn caught a 35cm/1.75lb perch!
