What/how much do you feed him? I've been trying so hard to find care guides for these guys but I'm getting no results 😔

I fed him once a day a choice of, flake, an algae wafer, earthworm, mealworms any frozen fish food, shrimp. They really eat anything just feed him what he'll eat. Any fish foods will do. Very easy to care for as long as you do your water changes, have adequate filtration, just like taking care of a fish tank.

Thank you! These guys can usually be purchased from your local fish store if it sells feeder ghost shrimp, sometimes there will be baby prawns in with the ghost shrimp. The baby prawns have black stripes on their head and a red rostrum.

I bought mine at a pet shop and thought they were amano shrimp but they were actually baby prawns and I have kept them in their own 10 gallon tank with lots of hiding places

I find them mixed in with ghost shrimp that they sell as feeders in my local fish stores. They sell them online too as babies for aquaponics, they are called macrobrachium rosenbergii.

It will eat goldfish if they are smaller than it.

They're not very common in the aquarium hobby at this size, so usually they're referred to as macrobrachium rosenbergii, or freshwater river prawn. When they're smaller they can be called ghost shrimp.
