This is a triumphant reprise of Men's Heated Battle, which is Alberto's (very melancholic) theme when he fights Taiso for the last time. Taiso perished, but Alberto didn't win. And now Alberto sacrifices himself to save the world. In his final moments he realizes that he matched Taiso in the moral standing. That Taiso would applaude if he could see this. That they're still enemies, but also, in a way, friends. As Alberto's body disintegrates, his soul departs with no regrets.

i miss Pre - Evangelion age... Giant Robo the Animation is one of the best robot anime. Good designed story and world with All Star (Manga) System from Mitsuteru Yokoyama (the manga writer). and i miss you... Mitsuteru Yokoyama (-2004).

Shockwave Aruberto..... The animation on Giant Robo was and still is awesome. But the music is beatiful, a masterpiece!

i have to back you up on that. its more emotional and intense, the new one is technically good, but it just lacks the balls to the wall intensity of the original, especially when powered up by the music.

@Shogi Yahaagi. Baring your childish insults (most likely do to some form of constipation?), I've watched Giant Robo in Japanese with English subtitles, and both English dubs keep the spirit of the original Japanese version, even with some line changes. He'll, the newest dub tries its hardest to stick to the Japanese lines, and its not far off from that, and the old English dub, because again, the spirit and intent is still intact throughout. Please, do get over yourself.
