@jimmyhackers Its really really expensive. Can't happen without big sponsors, and sponsors want publicity. If robot fighting becomes popular enough, I am sure redbull or something would like a team. Currently one of the big problems is safety and all the robots are dog shit slow, which doesn't make for the greatest viewing experience.

need to destroy unmanned robots next. pick them up and rip them in half at the torso. People want to see hydraulic fluid spraying everywhere! Eagle Prime vs 3 or 4 smaller bots. Rip off arms, crush in the head where the cameras and sensors are, make it look like their weapons are no match and add fake sparks and flames. Make the smaller bots easy to put back together to save money!

Hey i was watching real steel yesterday. Some things i noticed was how it was a sport for them is because its a thing where humans cometogether to overcome human to human violence with a great sense of intlectual knoledge. Thus makeing it a ESPN sport as 2 teams are needed. Another cool thing is how the distruction of the robots is not the distructions of humans but humanoid kinds of robots. Some basic sudgestions if you watch the movie for further info you will notice the robots have to be designed a spicific way. As i watched shadow mode i thought it makes one human a beter to fight beter than another as the connection of one human in its comprehension to another humans fight is shown with the disimbodyment as you pay attention to how another fights.

subed like to see this happen . what i see that is needed to make this work 1 if you want full on destructive action this needs to be a FPV or flight sim type set up sport in a much larger Battlebots type arena this could get deadly for anyone around or in the mechs . or 2 keep it MMA style and make the cockpit meet a safety lvl so it dont turn in to a blood sport and this will work.
