Guys, loved this video. I'm from Pennsylvania but just got back myself from 10 days in Ireland. Saw Dublin, Belfast, Galway and the Aran Islands (thanks to your videos). But by far my favorite part was the Northern Coast. Carrick-a-rede is one of the most breathtaking places I've ever been, and of course the Causeway is amazing. I'm curious, did you guys get the chance to check out Ballintoy Harbor? Or any of the Glens of Antrim? Northern Ireland is beautiful and underrated in my opinion, so thanks for taking the time to give it some more exposure. Cheers!

As a resident of Northern Ireland I've been to the Giant's Causeway many times. Several years ago the National Trust built a visitor's centre and the signage related to that gives the impression that it's the only way to access the Causeway. They charge quite a considerable amount to enter the visitor's centre. Access to the Causeway is actually free so if you are on a tight budget look for the signs directing you to the Causeway without having to go via the visitor's centre.

as a geologist, giant's causeway is on my top list for pilgrimage geology trip 😍 fyi, it is actually a formation of lava basalt rocks with collumnar joints, the "joints" (in geological term) is formed when the rock is contracted, usually during the cooling of the basaltic lava

That bridge is reinforced and very strong now. Many years ago, maybe 40-50 it was literally a few wooden slats, with rope Holding them together. There may be some images on google of the old bridge. Now not many would have crossed it the way it used to be. It was very dangerous and scary. Nowadays it is just a nice walk over a very sturdy bridge. Though I’ve seen many walk all the way down from the car park, (maybe 20 mins walk) and then decide they can’t cross it. Lol.

So encouraged and disappointed by seeing the reenactment, as I thought it was a thought original to my immature mind. You guys did it so well. We are a father-son team of anthropologists who just started KZbin, but we attempt to emulate and build on what you guys have accomplished. When we grow in popularity, I would love to convince you to go on some crazy UNESCO-based trip with us. For now, I just wanted to say hi and plant the seed for future collaboration. Cheers and hope to see you guys out together again soon. - Turtle and Bear, Old Soles Travel

Hurling is mostly only played by the people from nationalist backgrounds (identify as irish) while many unionists (identify as British) would not play hurling and would instead play rugby or soccer. Although this has changed in recent times, it still remains the same in regards to the Gaelic sports of hurling and Gaelic football.

Hey I know i commented before, but i was watching again, and saying hurling in Northern Ireland is like football in texas is not true...unfortunately. Let me say hurling is my favourite game, and I love it. However, realistically you would say hurling in Munster or kilkenny is like football in texas. In Northern Ireland the game is not really something protestants associate with( well in the past anyway but I dont think there has been a major change yet). Even among Catholic Nationalists the main game is gaelic football in the north. Anyway guys I love the videos I guess its hard to get all the nitty gritty stuff 100% right.

It's hillarious how people state the closer reality with mockery but state the total fable (millions of years ROFLMAO and some vague ass expelenation of how lava formations occur and trying to pretend that those man made rocks are the obvious result of lava cooling) like it's 100% fact. derp.

How did you guys get permission to fly a drone in this and other National Trust property no-fly zones? Thanks to many of your videos, suggestions, and advice, my wife and I are traveling to Republic of Ireland and N. Ireland this September and would love to visit many of the sites you feature in your videos. I own a sub-250g drone (DJI Mini Pro 4) and would love to get shots similar to what's in your videos. But the more I read about flying a drone in either Ireland the more it seems like a complete waste of time!

Hurling is much bigger in the south ....i love that ye did it but i wouldnt associate it with northern Ireland....I dont even mean politically ....cause hurling is really much bigger in Munster and south leinster.......In northern Ireland nationalists(people who consider themselves Irish) tend to play Gaelic football.
