Giant Sea Bass at Hermosa Beach Artificial Reef

Three Giant Sea Bass (Stereolepis gigas, formerly known as Black Sea Bass) huddling under the pier pilings at Hermosa Beach Artificial Reef in about 60 ft of water. The first one was about 4-4.5 ft long, the other two were about 3.5 ft and nearly 6 ft long. The smallest one humored us by sticking around for a close-up!
