Please only send campaigns on the verge of defeat or battles you can't win. Auto resolve wins won't be accepted. Modded campaigns are not currently accepted. Please only send campaigns/battles on large or ultra unit scale. Normal and small unit scale will not be accepted. Not currently accepting Realm of Chaos campaigns/battles.
Please keep in mind the volume of emails I receive and that not all disaster submissions will receive a response. I will try to get to as many as possible. Feel free to "bump" your email once every 24 hours by responding to your submission with bump. Do not resend the save file multiple times as it will clog up my inbox storage.

Even if you want to do an army with a bunch of slayers, prob just have doomseekers (or mixed) instead of giantslayers if you're around the greenskin/vampire area.

I think I have a pretty good guess about why that army composition is what it is. It looks like that army was built based on what units Malakai boosts, rather than what units synergize well. Malakai boosts both cannons and slayers, so I think the player probably thought that meant those should comprise all his ranged and melee units. Except they didn't consider that those units don't synergize at all.

Well there's doomseekers now, that would have been much better and I think they're on the same tier and recruit time as giant slayers. Gotta mix some of them in if you're going to build a slayer army.

the good thing about slayer is they're unbreakable so sometimes they will hold longer and when their entity got smaller it gives the gun unit a better line of sight

Or slayer prirates. They are better general purpose unit then slayers and they can also shoot.

I mean mannfred is basically inside dinotaur territory. I can see why he went with this army comp in the first place. Mannfred probably declared on him while he was killing dinos, and this was just the closest army he had to send mannfred's way.

Little advice for the video names. "Saving Battle: Giant Slayers and Cannons" would allow people to find all the saving battles and put a name to the series. Loving these so far!

I've tried this army comp before, it's a good idea on paper to use slayer frontline only with artillery but in practice the slayers are absolutely useless are your primary frontline, unless you're playing ungrim.

never put malakai in tunnel stance... you can move and replenish everywhere if you go in camp stance

In that particular location, you kinda need to use the underway, otherwise it takes 2-3 turns to get there.

I use it all the time to get over rough terrain, it's very necessary...just not inside the zone of control at an enemy settlement.

Ahhh. He wasn't playing as Malakai. I saw all those cannons and I started laughing like "Wtf even is this? This should be a brainless massacre with the cannons alone." Now it makes sense.

It's a shame that Ironwsrden tankards are so powerful. I never get anything else for that slot, and there are a lot of fun items to use.

There is one other good choice. I forget what it's called, but it gives 33% vigor loss reduction for the entire army. I usually get it for engineers since they don't need to tank as much.

@LegendOfTotalWar I'd like to see you suffer in another. This is total war campaign with restrictions on units. And I have just the campaign in mind, essentially a chaos dwarf campaign and the Legndary lord of your choosing, but you can only recruit chaos dwarfs with a limit of 3 artillery pieces per army. You can't recruit any orc or hobgoblin units. I would like to see this happen so if you can let me know your answer. Please and thank you

Having a mix of giant slayers and doomseekers is genuinely a good army comp, this guy just only spammed giant slayers which is just odd to me, I guess he might not have the Malakai dlc?
