So if your heroes get killed its over. And you really can just build one Army centered around the RoR Orks, while you can spam out the troll stack I guess.

@@ArlanKels The doomrocket sucks against large creatures and deals magic damage so they also took 25% less damage. it probably deals only about 100 damage per entity it hits, so maybe 1200 damage per squad of trolls, whereas a squad of 100 infantry would take 10000 damage. (I have no idea how much damage it actually does but this seems to be a decent explanation that works with what I've seen.)

They're actually even better with the other Troll-boosting ingredient instead. It gives them Unbreakeable (which it mentions) and a second regen effect (which it doesn't mention but is definitely there). Regenerating twice as fast is such a huge boost to their survivability while Unbreakable handily solves any and all possible leadership problems.

Trolls breaking is actually one of their strengths, it gives them time to regen out of combat. It's not always ideal, but there is a benefit to it.

Their resistant to most magic (as well as the doom rocket) is actually much higher since missile resistance applies to it as well. Missile Resistance applies to all spells/abilities that hit in some way ... only direct damage is unaffected

Just FYI - Nukes don't seem to affect large creatures at all. Was playing VS with a friend about 6 months ago. I was Orcs, he was Skaven and did the exact same thing against my stone trolls. I had no idea so thought, "well shit, there goes the trolls", the nuke hits and.....nothing! (Yes I did shout Waaaaagghhh afterwards). Also tested it out on Shoggoths and again, nothing.

Greenskin factions are easy to merge into yours when you are defeating them. So make sure wurzag is alive when they allow you to and you might still be able to do it

Grom has one of the most fun campaigns in the game. The cooking mechanic is op, has a ton of variety and lets you turn Goblins into High Elves doomstack slayers. Plus, Grom has THE BEST voice acting in the entire game. I highly recommend doing one with him sometime. It's hilarious krumpin' the bigger stuntiez with a bunch of Goblins led by an obese Goblin obsessed with food.

To be fair, this really only works in Wurrzag. Wurrzag's combination of adding physical resistance, giving everything magic attacks, and reducing enemy magic resistance to zero is SUPER strong.Wurrzag has a bunch of possible doomstacks, although this might be the least expensive. Here's some spammable units that could theoretically give this trouble: Phoenixes Forest Dragons & Zoats (Magic attacks + Dampen + Bonus vs. Large is really good here) Grail Knights Fmir with Great Weapons If you use a lord other than Wurrzag then lots of other things match up well against it, including things with high physical resistance (e.g. Cylostra's syreen army) as well as just standard armor piercing anti-large stuff (Dragon Ogres, Phoenix Guard, Demigryphs with Halberds, etc). But with Wurrzag, it's really tough.

It's the separate resistances stacking up. A percentage of a percentage of a percentage of a percentage starts going to sub/minimum 1 damage per type (missile N/AP, explosive N/AP) quickly.

I think other missile based factions like dark elves, high elves ect that have better holding line would cause more problems for them because the strongest units in this enemy were weapons team and they are terrible in melee and can be rushed. If there is something that pins the trolls down missiles might me much more problem for them.

Three reasons why NOT to give it a 10/10 (neither have anything to do with the army itself, but rather have something to do with the campaign) 1: I could see it struggling against a terror heavy army since everything is melee and relatively low leadership (for a doomstack) 2: The army heavily relies on circumstance to exist. You have to have Da Biggest Scalies, you have to have Wurrzag, you have to start as Grom. If there is no Biggest Scalies target or if Wurrzag dies before you can confed him, the army fails 3: It's very much a lord army, you can only have the one meaning you can't spam it
