Typically animals of all sorts feed off of the humans emotions. Act aggressive or anxious and the animal will note that and respond accordingly (either aggressive, defensive, or maybe just straight out like a predator if it senses the flight response). This of course isn't true for every animal, but it's why a lot of supposedly dangerous animals can be held as long as you know what you're doing and are certain of yourself while doing it.

Here comes an invasive intruder in the Everglades that starts with the letter B, which is found in Southeast Asia known as Burmese Python. I think in my opinion that the reason why Burmese Pythons are invasive is because people who kept them as pets released them in the invasive wilderness especially in the Everglades. To prevent the Burmese Pythons from invading is donate to a public zoo or take them back to their natural home in Southeast Asia.

heart of a wolf that’s not why pythons are killed. They are a “predatory species” Which he explained in the video. They do harm to the ecosystem and native species in the region being as though they are not native to south Florida, but have overpopulated the area due to people irresponsible people releasing them when they became to big to keep as pets

crownviclx2000 The everglades are a perfect habitat for pythons or any constrictor really. All that predatory species stuff is just fear motivated propaganda so people can feel okay about murdering these amazing creatures. The real invasive species in Florida are humans, we do far more damage to the everglades and the Florida ecosystem in general than pythons or boas ever could. They are amazing animals and are nothing to be afraid of.
@jbmp13907 жыл бұрын
heart of a wolf Keep up your inquisitive and caring spirit when it comes to reptiles especially and don't listen too much to fools like this crown vic moron. I may be a little late, but I don't think she had a retained eyecap. Cloudy eyes is a sign that the snake is going to shed. Snakes are far from "almost blind". They may not have the best eyesight, but they're nowhere near "almost blind". The reason they get defensive when they shed is because when their eyes cloud up like that (in preparation for shedding), they ARE almost blind.

I've had a few reptiles in my time from bearded dragon ,iguanas,and rat snakes beautiful ones. I have the temptation to buy a python once but I didn't. And when the bearded dragon or the iguanas go to big I took it back to the reptile store so they can give it up for adoption or just take care of themselves. What's that about these guys is that they're innocent they were picked up as a baby maybe half a footlong. And when go to 10 ft or more abandoned in the Everglades. They don't belong here and they're pretty much killing the ecosystem but they're not the bad guys is the owners and their the ones that put them out here the ones responsible for this. Truly sad story all around.

Never held anything that big. Biggest i've handled comfortably would be maybe 5-6ft pythons. My friend has a relatively massive banana ball python at 5'7. My favourite snake i've ever held though would be an emerald tree boa. That was only about 3ft though.

hey Coyote! love ur show! i used to be very afraid of snakes and now fear is replaced with respect. I would never get that close to a snake. once at my school they brought in a snake handler for our biology class and he said it totalled 8 feet. not sure what kind it was i kept my distance. but the kids could handle them. it almost looked like a rattlesnake but im sure they wouldnt have brought in a venomus snake to our school! theres no way.

I didn't hold it, but once while I was waiting by my grandpa's pickup during harvest, (my grandparents own a farm and I help drive around and drive th places) I was just walking around and I nearly stepped on a bull snake, yes, a bull snake, that was somewhere from 6 to 7 feet long. It was about 6 inches in diameter too.
