It’s not always like this , last year this time we had loads of flatfish but this year the crabs stayed longer then exspected

@@SMASHFISHING No we don't see any crabs in the nets , there boats that have stings of pots out deep. We get loads of sand crabs in the shrimp beam trawl. We used 8" mesh ray nets on the south coast when I was working out off Plymouth to catch spiders. They used to eat the net..
