Love the vivid pink headband with the bright lime coat. It suggests she is a really fun person.

Do they have to move the whole slab twice a year when daylight savings time starts and ends?

Very cool... in a couple we will have the winter solstice... I hope to see another video showing us that. I always say that it is the shortest amount of sunlight in a day... I know that ppl say "it's the shortest day", but all days are 24 hours (ish) and yes there are rabbit holes all over the subject of how we measure time and stuff. I find it fun and fascinating. And that's a very neat sundial.

The Earth turns under the Sun? I understand the sentiment, but it’s not necessarily an accurate way to describe what is happening as the Earth turns on its axis on its path around the Sun. This is a nice, beautifully constructed attraction but it isn’t perfect because Earth’s rotations and revolutions are not precise, standardized units of measure.

Actually, they are precise. Otherwise satellites wouldn't work or aeronautics. . Even with Daylight Savings, etc. UWash in Seattle has the same thing, but the shadow of the gnomon casts it's shadow on the side of a building. And depending on what day it is, there's a lot of variation in where the shadows hit.
