For Stripers, you're going to want to use 4X hooks minimum. 1/0, 2/0 for smaller plugs and 3/0,4/0 for bigger ones. A 15-20 kilo striped bass will bend the shit out of anything thinner...trust me on that one.

Never thought you'd make it to Cape Cod, there are beasts on stellwagon bank. hope you dont hook a 1000 pound one though, best are in the 50-100 range. As for birds man, Ive casted topwater to them and no bird has ever hit it, but you do have to be careful when casting, you could knock one out the sky.

Cheers from Boston. I highly recommend you fish the Cape cod canal for the plus sized stripers. You can definitely use those tuna lures to catch bass at the canal.....

those sirens are nice but definitely not indestructible. I have a deep seductress extreme fast sink, and on a cast my bail flipped closed and the lure smacked the rocks and cracked completely in half in 2 spots. they seem to be made from some type of composite, almost like a concrete composite. I was super bummed, but what can u expect when that happens. Still, wood lures wont bust in half, just dent

200lb Bluefin tuna on spin, better have the chiro on deck for the full spinal! Really looking forward to how you compare it to fighting GT. Apples and oranges, but both represent the pinnacle of lure casting imo. Also I’d love to see your opinion of the Saltywater Tackle’s tuna rod lineup (Racepoint, Monster Ledge, etc), as I know Jason rocks those sticks....Best of luck mate!

Dude take a lot of jigs and jigging rods.. Almost all tuna have been caught on jigs lately, not much surfacing as of late, hopefully this changes though but be prepared if they’re not on top!

Look into the mustad moonriser jigs, specifically in the blue candy color. Absolutely hammered them with these jigs. 150g-200g

At nighttime when you’re not offshore, fish the cape cod canal for striper as well. Use heavy tackle light rod and reel because of the current rips
