For my birthday coming up in June I am going to build a big functional size like yours, I am using a 48x48 baseplate is that what you used?? Anyway I am looking forward for on my birthday to be getting tons of bricks, motors and an NXT and adapters so I can build one like yours!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with in the future. You are the best man keep it up! I’ll tag you in my community tab of the progress I will be making on the claw machine in about a few weeks!! Love your building man 👍!!

I did indeed use a 48x48 baseplate, the big gray one. Good luck and I look forward to seeing yours!

You did a really great job with this machine. Best of all is now you have a lifetime supply of Jolly Ranchers

Thanks for the compliment! It was only 2 layers thick. In my household, that should last maybe half a day.

I am trying to make one my own and how does the claw drop to get the candy and grab it then rise!? (Btw I subbed)
@LegoTechnicsRule Жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks for the sub! I made a video dedicated to the claw here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJa1dpKKh52jl5Y However the thing that lowers it can be seen at 3:05. The tan bevel gears rotate allowing the string attached to the hooks to drop, lowering the claw. To raise the claw, the gears just rotate the opposite direction.

Where did you get that controller and battery box? Also how did you get them to work with EV3?
@LegoTechnicsRule2 жыл бұрын
The controller is just your generic Lego power functions IR remote. How I got the PF motors to work with EV3 is a different story. I used method 2 described in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZbOk5J8lL13iMk

What do you use to create these amazing designs?
@LegoTechnicsRule10 ай бұрын
What do I use? I’m not quite sure what that means.
@theodorehowe226210 ай бұрын
@@LegoTechnicsRule Do you use a cad machine to design your Lego models or do you just imagine it and make it.
@LegoTechnicsRule10 ай бұрын
The second one. However there is lots of trial and error.

What’s the coding app
@LegoTechnicsRule2 жыл бұрын
There’s two. There’s the classroom app, which can be used to program the EV3 similar to Scratch. There’s also the lab app, which is the original EV3 software. I can provide links if needed.

can you now make the tutorial?
@LegoTechnicsRule4 жыл бұрын
Sorry I didn’t see this comment sooner. I am making the tutorial on just the claw and the trolley. Making a tutorial on the whole thing would take a huge amount of time.
