Multifunctional Control Panel- On the control panel are there ten programs, 8 water level selections and LED display. I’ve had this washer two weeks now and i’m impressed. Good drainage and I bought a steel hose for backup. In case the one that came with it cracks. I managed to jimmy rig the drain pipe by using the hook of the plastic U bend sleeve on a dish rack and it flows nicely into the sink. Thanks for the vid, brother.

Thank you for your review! I have two roommates in a 3 bedroom mobile home. We were given a used full sized used washer and dryer by our neighbor a little over a year ago but, unfortunately, the washer stopped working a couple months ago. Thanks to your review we opted to split this one about $73 each. It was $220 on Amazon, we were not charged sales tax for some reason and it showed up to our front door in about 10 days with free shipping. It washes a good amount of clothing very well! The only thing we cant do in it was comforters but fortunately we have family in the area for the occasional comforter run. The hose it came with did spray water from the source when I hooked it up but I replaced it with the one from the old washer and its been working great since. Thanks for this review! It seems great for those with or without a conventional hookup, I would recommend this machine!

I, along with a few others, had a problem with the hose that came with the machine. A standard braided washing machine hose hooked right up and I've not had any problems since. I was seriously going to try option 04/Blanket mode yesterday on a comforter but talked myself out of it. I figure it was a smart move...

Washes great but water wont drain and do the rinse or spin cycle. I can hear the motor going but it wont drain. I didnt even get one good wash out of it! I bought mine through Amazon. Had a broken unit delivered and filed the complaint through them. Had a replacement unit delivered a few days later. That’s my experience with the company’s customer support.

Do you leave the water from the sink faucet running during the entire wash and rinse cycle? Or do you have to monitor it and manually turn the water off and on for each cycle?

BIZ MARKIE you leave the faucets on. There is a valve inside the washing machine that cuts the water on and off as it needs water. No need to monitor it. It’s just like a large washer. I love it!

Thank you for adding the hose fix additional items. I would like to do a similar set up, but be able to remove the hose from my kitchen sink every time. Any idea what part I would need to connect the hose to a regular sink fauce? I might just end up doing your installment for ease haha. But this by far is the best demo and review on these style washers. I really wanted one with a built in pump. But so many people just put these in their showers and use gravity drain and bucket system..... I really don’t want to do that. So wish me luck! Also curious how your drain pump is holding up. I have a compact dryer and it’s great I love it. You should get one it’s worth every penny I wash and dry at least a load a day since I have 4 kids and we live in a small apartment. My light bill is 80 to 100 a month I used to spend that amount on laundry every month.

I've had this same washer for over a year now, and love it! I live in my travel trailer, I attach it to my kitchen sink, and also drain it there. I also bought a Magic Chef 1.5 cu ft dryer a few months ago, and I'm also impressed with it's quality for the cost (just over $200 online).

Leave the water supply ON just like you would on a larger washer. The machine will regulate how much water goes into the tub.

Yes it can! I'm not sure about the quantity but I can wash two days worth of clothes (socks, jeans, undies, shirts) at a time with no problem. That's about all I want to put in it but I'd imagine it would hold more. You may just lose some of the machines agitation motion if you load more in it.

Have you used liquid fabric softener in the unit; and if so how did you go about adding it? I have a Downy Ball but, don’t know if it will work if I use less softener in it for this machine. I’ve heard other only use a tablespoon of detergent and a tablespoon of softener. What are you thoughts on this? Thanks for the review!

amyronell I have used fabric softener in the past. I just poured it in during the rinse cycle. I don’t have any experience with the ball but use very little detergent even on a full load. I use tide ultra up to the 2nd line on a full load.

have you ever had an issue where it wouldn't drain? correct amount of water, not overloaded, lint trap clean. i've had mine for less than 6 months. was a gift from father in law. a couple months ago it stopped draining and had an E1 error, which just means it didn't drain. manual says to open and close the lid. no luck. i tried contacting service through amazon, and their responses looked like somebody put it through google translate a bunch of times, finally telling me to take it to a service repair shop. i ain't got that kind of money ...

Nordekai make sure it’s in the right cycle. I use option 1. I assume if it is in option 5 or 6 it wouldn’t drain. Check out my reply to the pinned comment. Let me hear from you if that was the problem or not. I assume if it will spin then it thinks the lid is closed.

Nordekai can you get the machine to a door so you can drop the drain hose outside lower than the machine? That would allow it to gravity drain and verify there isn’t a blockage in the hose. Maybe try a different cycle such as rinse & drain to see if you can fool it into emptying the water. If you can get it empty, I’d unplug it for a few minutes. Maybe it needs to be reset. I assume it is out of warranty? I can’t recall the warranty and can’t get to the manual right now

Nordekai is the highest part of the drain pipe higher than 3’ 9”? That is the only other thing I can see that would cause your draining problem if the drain pipe is clear and the door is closed unless there is a faulty component in the machine.

Kip Paseo that’s anyone’s guess. Here is what I know. Every mechanical machine will eventually break. I will attempt to repair anything that happens to it. I’ve already saved some troubleshooting tips online just to be ready. So far so good. I love it! It did three loads yesterday and frequently does two loads a day. I’m really liking the fast wash feature for my workout clothes. It cuts the wash time in about half!

I can't say I think a lot of that could be replaced with standard parts. take the broken hose to a hardware store or auto parts store and see if they have it.

It isn't a hot air "Drier" but will spin your clothes dry if you desire. It takes an additional hour of spinning.

Try to unplug it for a while to see it it will reset. Do you still hear a sloshing sound in the tub when you move it around? That is the fluid that helps balance a load.

Code E1 is basically saying the drain is on but no water is in the machine. I also get that code when I accidentally turn the water off to the machine During a wash cycle.

I just got my washer today. I’m in a condo that doesn’t allow w/d hookups. I have a few questions. Do I remove the Styrofoam around the inside hose at the base of the washing machine also how much detergent do I add for a large load medium load small load respectively when do I add the fabric softener and can I safely add bleach?

There was some packing foam in the bottom of mine i had to remove prior to installing the bottom cover. I use liquid tide at the number 1 or 2 mark on the tide cap. If I use bleach i add it at the beginning of the cycle and let water cover the bottom before adding clothes. There is a fabric softener dispenser built into the side of the drum so it wont be added to the clothes until the drum spins. Enjoy!

I'm not sure I understand. I have a pressure regulator that drops the water pressure before the water comes into my RV so that may be what you need if your pressure is unusually high. You can get an RV water pressure regulator very inexpensively and try that out. Are they replacing that unit with a new washer? Thibaut Danner it has both bleach and softener cups. I just pour those product into the tub. The tub is 21” deep and 15” wide.

Supposedly there is a plastic tube that goes from the side of the outside of the drum to the solenoid that shuts the water off. If the tube gets clogged the solenoid won’t shut the water off. Remove the back cover and look for the tube

Yep! Well Maybe. Check page 11-12 of the Operation Manual. It sounds like you have put it in Program 08/Rinse & Spin. This washer has 10 different programs but I only use one of them, Program 1/Normal. The rest of the Programs are 02/Standard, 03/Fast, 04/Blanket, 05/Soak & Wash, 06/Wash, 07/Wash & Rinse, 08/Rinse & Spin, 09/Spin and finally 10/Air Dry. Now for the Fix. Push the POWER button, Push the WATER LEVEL (1-8) button, Push the PROGRAM button until it reads 01 (or whatever Program you want) then push START button. As far as the WATER LEVEL goes, here is how that looks in Liters: Level 1/23L, 2/26L, 3/29L, 4/33L, 5/36L, 6/39L, 7/42L and 8/46L. I usually use level 5 or 6 for one day's worth of clothes for one person, 7 or 8 for two sets of clothes or a couple towels and rags or sheets. You really can't go wrong here as long as you don't overload the machine or put too much water in the machine with a small amount of clothes. It will slosh around too much. You'll figure it out! Don't forget to clean out that lint trap inside the drum. REMOVE it then OPEN it to remove the lint! Let me know if that fixes it. If you have problems, contact them through Amazon. My first machine was damaged in shipping and they sent me a new one. No problems with the company or machine since then.

I purchased a unit and am unable to get water into the inlet after unpacking and setting it up, even with the inlet filter removed. Attaching a hose and turning on the faucet makes water spurt from the hose but never goes into the machine. Giantex support was absolutely no help via email for over 8 days. I assume the pump cannot get every ounce of water out. If you really need it to be dry, drop the end of the drain hose lower than the bottom of the tub and it might drain out. If you are referring to the sloshing sound you may hear when you move the tub around, that is normal. It is the liquid in the upper part of the tub used to balance the load. They come that way right out of the box brand new.
