I bought a small one for washing small items. Living in the desert, clothing gets sweaty frequently and hand washing was getting old. I've not received it yet, but am looking forward to the end of hand washing. For large items, I'm glad I have the luxury of a full-sized machine. And yes, good review. Ibaisaic keeps a much more tidy home than most reviewers.

I've got the Leisurewize twin tub machine same as yours which I use weekly. It does a good job but this machine looks far easier to use as it is automatic so I will probably be looking to get one of these in future. Enjoyed watching this video, you always explain things clearly for anyone who is thinking of buying an appliance, many thanks :)

Thank you so much for showing this washing machine and explaining how it works. I've been researching these for about a year. My washer and dryer is located in basement and its 3 levels down so taking smaller loads down is getting harder as I'm aging. So I appreciate this review!

We just bought one of these and ran into the same problem of not being able to fit the inlet hose to any of our taps. Because we were most likely to have this set up in our bathroom we decided finding an adapter for the shower hose would be the easiest and my goodness it was. Straight away we found an adapter at Wickes, by the brand Primaflow in the plumbing section. It's an angled appliance valve in the size 15mm x 3/4", it comes with a nut on the end you would attach the shower hose (don't need the nut), this size fits any standard shower hose. The end that the inlet hose fits on to was a little tricky to get on at first, the threads seemed to not match up, but with a little patience and force, they fit together perfectly (this may have just been ours). All we have to do now is unscrew our shower head and screw the inlet hose with the adapter on it and ready to go! I hope this saves some people some time and money trying to find the right one.

I have this same washing machine in my travel trailer. I created an 18 inch wide space beside my bathroom vanity. I hook it to the faucet. I sit a trash can over in the shower and drain the water to keep from over powering my plumbing system. The tub is a really nice size and holds a good amount of clothes and water. Very low noise. It's an excellent machine. I love all of the settings. It does a great job.

I have done 4 loads now with this model. it works fine and i am impressed with the spin cycle. if you overload it, it will shut itself off. its nice and light, easily moved around. it does however have a small leak and i havent investigated it yet or found the answer as to what it is. hopefully its just a matter of the drain hose connection needing adjustment.

I am currently planning the remodeling of the vacation home we got by my husband's grandparents. it's a very small house, narrow kitchen and narrow bathroom. it's really a challenge to rethink the rooms without making you feel cramped or boxed in, or just able to move. a washing mashine like this is on the list of things I want to have built in there.

So glad we can now get these here in the UK. Student accommodation washing machines are up on the list of the most disgusting things ever. £4.40 for a 30 degree cycle that lasts 50 minutes and the clothes come out smelling like egg. Plus there are some body hairs in the door that you probably don't want to find on your white shirts. Going to save up and get one of these hopefully.

I have a similar washer, a Kuppet. I'm in the UK. My machine came with a inlet hose with screws that wouldn't fit anything maybe just a garden tap. I bought a standard dishwashing/ washing machine hose and a 3/4 to 1/2 reducer adapter then attached to my shower hose. Shower hoses are 1/2 and washing machine inlet hoses are 3/4.

I love the dual. Better agitation. You have more control. I leave it in my tub. Fill it with shower head. So light. I lift out of tub with no Hassel. Spinner is amazing. You could laundry outside in warmer weather filling with garden hose. I'm 54 yr old women 120 lbs and I lift it with no issue. Dual spin gets it pretty dry.

It’s a good little machine I’ve had it for a while I replaced it with a different model but for that amount of laundry you really need to use the high water level not medium or small I don’t even know why they put those two options on there it’s a very small washer and certainly for a duvet and two pillows shams high water level would be the best. Good review.

I'm currently using a double tub portable washer which is a lot of work for sure. But it also saves a lot of money from going to the laundromat. But the constant transferring from one tub to the next, draining and refilling wash and rinse water is a pain and takes forever to get a bunch of loads done. Since the wash tub is small you can only put in so much at one time. Certainly not 8 pounds of dry clothing. I recently found the machine you're showing here online and looking at getting it. I thank you for showing this set up. I like the machine but not that it takes so long to do a load and 2 rinse cycles. So I'm going to have to give this some thought or find a machine that doesn't take so much time and water to deal with.

Twin Tubs seem more convenient in some situations. I'm still unsure about these shown in the video. I'd wash the duvets (relatively clean) then put them in the spin section. I'd then be able to reuse the water in the washing tub to clean my clothes. The main problem I see is the risky nature of the plumbing (or lack of it) that is left unattended. Living in an apartment with neighbours below my floor the risk is high. Good video, I do like the machine👍
@mspat8195
@mspat8195 Жыл бұрын
Reusing the rinse water to then wash the next load is an important consideration. Perhaps reusing water can be done by pouring it back into the machine from the draining container. Depending on your washing solution (natural, biodegradable), the water can be used for your gatden plants or as the wash water for cleaning your bike, car, birdbath, etc.

So I have a couple questions- I am from the US and looking to get one of these as getting to the laundromat can be difficult, especially in the winter. My apartment is incredibly small (less than 200 sq feet) and this looks as though it will fit perfectly in my shower. Niw my questions: is the drain pipe necessary? If I just leave the machine sitting in my shower, can I just let the water drain straight from the machine without the hose? Also, it is mentioned- suggested- not to add detergent on top of the dry clothes and to let it fill then add detergent. Is there a specific reason for this or is it just a preference? Could I just use a laundry pod instead? Thank you so much for this unboxing/review! I will definitely be purchasing one of these machines!

Bought one of these from Amazon recently, great little machine except for the fact mine leaks from underneath somewhere. Only a drip but not good enough for an allegedly new appliance. No response from the seller unfortunately. Wondered if anyone else has suffered the same issue with this machine? Such a shame as this is otherwise a great little machine. Have previously had a portable twin tub which while worked well, was so much more hassle to use!

Mine did this whenever I put to large of a load or something like to heavy of a blanket.

Thanks so much for this video! I am having the same issue as my tap does not have any threads either. I was trying to look for the video where you figured it out under the sink but haven't found it. Any other suggestions on how I can further connect it? thx

I have a similar one, a Kuppet. In the end I got a generic dishwasher/washing machine inlet hose from Amazon and then a 3/4 to 1/2 reducer from an irrigation supply bits on Ebay and attached to my shower hose. Shower hoses are 1/2 and standard washing machine hoses are 3/4.

You definitely needed the high water level for that load, medium is not enough water for that amount of laundry. I owned this washer at one time. More water is always better less strain on the motor.

Adding more water makes more work for the motor to work. It is like spinning an empty bucket vs spinning a bucket full of water, then wait for it to stop, then spin again. Inertia.

@@rhythmandacoustics That doesn’t apply for a washer, imagine when the agitator is trying to push the clothes back-and-forth there is more strain on the motor than with a tub full of water, buoyancy lightens the strain. The same applies to people who swim and get exercise that way the water is actually making you more buoyant and allows you to exercise as opposed to straining yourself. Why do you think seals have a hard time on land and yet swim with no problem in the ocean.

@@petermaz701 Nah the water weight creates more load for the motor than half the load. It is way harder for the motor to turn 20 litres of water than 10 litres of water.

Can thee agitation be adjusted for a heavier agitation?

I'm having the same issue with the tap connector. So far I found a connector from eBay china , one end screws onto the machine and the other end is a rubber seal which clasps to the end of the tap... You also need to use a screwdriver to fasten the supplied jubilee clip attached to the rubber seal to the end of the tap... The main issue with this is that the water pressure sometimes blasts the tap connector off, pending on how much water you let through the tap.. Did you find a different solution?

We connected ours up to our shower so not sure how helpful this is, but we use an angled appliance valve by Primaflow (bought it from wickes) 15mm x 3/4" and connect that to the shower hose. It was a bit fiddly to connect at first, though that may have just been ours, however it works great.

Thanks for such an informative and well presented video. I was wary of buying one of these and your video reassured me that all should be well. Many thanks and subscribed so I can see what other great videos you've produced. Saved me lots of anxiety. Many thanks. Quick question. When the agitator reverses does it do this by reversing the motor. We will buy ours for a narrowboat and the inverter might baulk slightly at constantly having to supply mains motor startup current

Sorry, I don’t know the method the machine uses for reversing the agitator, but I’m assuming the motor reverses.

This looks just like a shrunk bare-bones HE top loader with a washing plate. (An agitator would be this thing projecting from the bottom of the drum which rolls the laundry up and down.) I wish I had something like that in my student apartment and the frst place I owned--a 400 sq ft studio apartment with absolutely no space for a full size washing machine or even a compact. Four casters (with brakes) would be a good option.

Hi! Thanks for the video! I just got this set up. This may be a silly question but do you have to leave the water on for the whole wash cycle?

Yes

Yes, the water tap needs to be left on so that the washer can fill itself during the cycle.
