ich habe es so verstanden, dass man sich der/die ProtagonistIn des Textes die gesamte Zeit verstellt und nichts nach außen zu lässt, also keine Gefühle, keinen klaren Weg. Und sich selbst dann hinterfragt, wie lange das eben noch weiter gehen kann, bis es bemerkt wirkt und bis die Person dafür vielleicht gehasst wird. Doch bis dahin wird diese Person "misinterpretiert" :)
