@@cody1574there’s no way that’s the argument. Seattle had one of the worst defenses and had given up a ton of points by week 4 when the giants played them at home. Giants fans were expecting Seattle to be a winnable game considering the poor defense and were comparing it to Arizona. Jones played well against Arizona on the second half after being awful in the first but this time in Seattle he was awful the whole game and the threw one of the most pathetic pick sixes you could ever think off down on his own goaline to a rookie corner who was able to read him because Jones stared the read down for no reason instead of throwing it to a wide open Darren Waller in the endzone. The giants were in prime position to make the game interesting but instead it’s a touchdown for the defense and that was all she wrote. That is the problem with Jones. You start to think he’s figuring out the defenses and then he makes some of the most head scratching decisions you’d imagine. As a Giants fan that watched Eli as well, it’s hard for me to accept Jones’fault when there’s been little to know reward for the suffering. Eli delivered, Jones has to either play like he did against Minnesota far more regularly against the other defenses in the league or he’s gone. The giants have to know they can’t play 40 million for a qb and not be making playoff appearances yearly.
