Anthony convinced me a few videos ago. I was VERY anti Belichick, but he's the only one with the cache to walk into the building and potentially get Mara to listen about firing the lifers in the organization that need to go. Even if he doesn't bring us unbelievable on-field success, we'll at least get new blood in the "background" positions that stick around regardless of regime. That can lead to a more objective evaluation of those people, which is how you build a real front office. It's not just the GM and Asst GM that matter.

Guys, love the discussion and insight. The Giants somehow need a Management Framework like that you see in Pittsburgh, Green Bay, KC. They have a Management Philosophy and strategic approach to managing the Team from top to bottom. Pittsburgh doesn't always win every year but they are competitive. Tomlin and Management are obviously well aligned and have the secret sauce , Giants need to replicate that formula. It will take a total house cleaning though. Thoughts?

The backups are playing well because they're the only ones with anything left to play for. McFadden is an underrated LB. Tre Hawkins is playing for field time. Dru Phillips doesn't give up, ever. Even the depth DLinemen looked pretty good. New Orleans offence isn't terrible. Their defense is, and the Giants O were unable to take advantage.

They tell him well this is Daniel years to make or break. You will be his back up. Back up? and he leaves and goes to the Steelers. My point to make is this. Russell Wilson is not a better choice than Daniel. He was offering stability, but we paid Daniel is the point I am making. Quinn Ewers will be our QB because Dabol has never coached and African American qb so why would he start now. Josh is what they want and quinn is the closet. If we stat at #1 they will move back and acquire picks as the reason of not to take a QB that is African American. our GM has gone to visit shador and deon at his school Colorado because he has too and it looks great. Lets be honest why would Deon take a chance on sending him to NY to this dysfunctional mess. Why would he send him to a team that does not value the African American QB. Ownership wont allow it and history for 100 years shows it. Why would he want his son to go to a team where they don't even know if they will have a job either. I’m not a proponent of getting guys fired, but what would be the reason to keep them? They should’ve franchised Jones, instead of signing him to the deal he signed. They gave up Barkley & McKinney. Williams is balling out in Seattle. Schoen picked Williams over Pickens. Daboll can’t develop any one. What good reason do you have to keep them? I can’t find one. On a last note, they’re saying Jones can’t do what Sam has done? When has Sam ever come close to playing like he is now? If he did, he would’ve been signed some place else. Jones has more talent over all than Darnold. If he gets an opportunity to play under this new staff, he’ll show that, just like Darnold did.

I think the Giants need a proper division of labor, which seems impossible as long as robber baron Mara is there hiring his incompetent, inbred relatives over qualified people. I know it's maybe recency bias and maybe a miracle, but if Dan Snyder's Redskins can do a 180, so can New York. They basically got Peters and Quinn in together, talking about a "unified vision". I assume they meant by that both of them pulling in more or less the same direction, and I know I didn't take them seriously for a second last offseason. But apparrently they meant it. One does team culture, gameplans and practice, the other the roster. So a year into this they have hired a president to deal with pants&picnics, which is essentially what Mara's fake job should be and what Harris has been doing. But the GM and coach are already entrenched and don't need his help to run the football team. I think that delay was important to let the new organization take hold a little at a time. And it is apparrently important to have someone fleecing fans for tickets and parking, selling jerseys and socks, suing season ticket holders and everything else. They just don't need to have a voice in the football side of it.

Mc fadden trash, we never should expect to win with hi. In the field.. same with slayton.. they don’t see the field on a championship team. These type guys are 3rd string guys … been watching this team since 85. The line backer and running the ball been the key.. we need to start and finish with the o line .. we are not a qb away.

Ownership, GM, and HC have to be on the same page, painful as it is. Lose out, you get to draft the next QB and sign a bridge, and you have two years to trend up. Win more games in year 1, playoffs in year 2. If they can’t make playoffs in 2026, here’s a Uhaul van and a box. Rebuilds take time.
