I cant agree with you that Barkley was THAT good. I mean, other than his rookie year....what really has he done? Singletary has played one year less that Barkley and had a Better YPC last year AND has a better career YPC. I think we will get the same production at the running back position, but now we also have Nabers, Burns and some improvements on the Oline. Some of those might have not been possible if we overpaid a 27 yr old running back who has never truly shown that hes all that special. Great guy, lots of talent, just never seemed to transfer over the the NFL as much as you thought it would.

I like what schoen doing , since saquon we haven’t had a RB duo which is how we won last super bowls . I would like to see 3 productive backs instead of depending on one and when he’s out or not playing good we can’t move the chains I love this pick

He really has a great opportunity to make a name in the NFL by being on the Giants. Singletary is good but everyone else is full of promise and potential. Dante has to be considered to be at least an equal to Gray, Tracy, and Gary B. We shall see….

I worry about him making the roster though. They signed Singletary, hes definitely making it, they just drafted Tracy Jr., because hes a draft pick drafted by this regime, he will probably make it, then you have Gray that they drafted last year, hes a draft pick, so he might make it. Im just saying, because they invested actual draft picks on these guys, they may want to keep them around just for that reason. Unless Miller just makes it impossible for them to cut him, I think it will be hard to make the active roster. I hope that isnt the case and they give him a fair shot to see ALL of what he has to offer and not just find reasons to keep the guys they drafted just because they drafted them. I dont see Tracy Jr. not making this roster. Hes pretty good. I think the 3rd spot might be between Miller and Gray.

How do you know so much? Saquon is out of the picture and he left a whole lot of carries to be rationed off. I am pulling for Dante to make the team and get some of them. He can play right away on special teams returning kicks and punts. His combine scores suggest Joe Schoen might have gotten the best RB in the 2024 draft class if he was in it.
