Great intro, keeping it real and trying to focus on the future. The reality is sometimes things just happen for a reason. Garth Brooks even sang a song about unanswered prayers. So without the #1 pick I wonder if our best option is to pick up a bridge QB like Justin Fields and use that pick to select a Travis hunter or someone else great out there. The worst thing the Giants can do right now is mortgage, future draft picks to move up for two guys who some would not rate well in a typical draft. The last thing we need is another Daniel Jones situation and my fear is the GM might give in to the peer pressure to grab a QB in this draft vs grabbing a solid bridge QB that Daboll could work with.

I appreciate John’s opening statement because that’s the first time I’ve heard someone from the giants media say that this is not a good thing for the organization. That’s all I want to be acknowledged. No fan expects the players to try and lose on purpose. But let’s not say that yesterday was a positive for this franchise going forward

Imagine bringing Daboll back n not getting the Qb in the draft but paying significant money in FA for a bridge QB who doesn’t give consistent good QB play week to week🤦‍♂️ Or if we give up significant capital up to get QB n that QB doesn’t have consistent good QB play week to week. I guess we’ll have to keep bringing him back until he gets an elite QB?

One more thing, apparently ownership is too stupid realize since all they do is make dumb decisions. You're losing or lost an entire generation of fans who are apathetic to your franchise now. You make a bad decision than double down on that bad decision. The 1st pick and a new coach, GM and QB was the last excitement and hope every fan i know was holding on too. But im sure that the win yesterday will solidify John mara in his delusional that "we're close" so he'll run it back status quo and make no changes. Don't worry this loser mindset (comfortability) will keep this team a bottom feeder for years to come.
