you never wanna have a bad outing, you never wanna disappoint a starting pitcher that has made a tremendous effort, but you still walk a very tight rope when you come in outta the bullpen, you can be a hero, or struggle with a bad memory.

Sucks? Maybe you dont know what real broadcasting is! This is the youngest MLB broadcaster at only 28. Dont know what your problem is with real talent.

MLB.TV. 109 $. /. Year.
@jodi1838 жыл бұрын
Only problem with MLB TV is that games in your area are blacked out during live game times. If you don't mind watching games after they've been played, after you probably found out what the score was, then MLB TV is great. If you live out of the designated area for your favorite team (say you are a Reds fan and you live in NYC or overseas, etc), then you can watch the streaming games live.

This kid Stripling pitched one hell of a game for anyone, much less a rookie in SF! Too bad he played for the Dodgers.

That first out in the bottom of the second was absurd. They had the third baseman in short right field, and the rest of the infielders were at their normal positions. And the idiot batter doesn't lay one down along the third base line? It should be an automatic hit. Instead, he hits the ball right into where three guys are standing.

Well, that was a shame. A great effort by Strickling goes for naught. Mad props to the Dodgers manager for pulling him when he did. It's a long season and it's just getting started. Go Dodger Blue!

They should have swapped pitchers earlier. Left him out too long then the next guy came in cold just as the game was getting hot. This is why you should leave history to the history books.
@garybillington22398 жыл бұрын
heart gotta go out to the young pitcher, a chance to make history robbed from him. take him out in the 6th if at all, but with 5 batters to go is cruel, the lad was gutted, his replacement was pathetic talk about karma
@richarddarlington11398 жыл бұрын
+Gary Billington Oh, no, Gary. It was absolutely the right thing to do. Ya gotta look at the big picture, here. Strickling had a hell of a first outing. Win or lose ( I'm still watching the game), that will never change. Don't forget the circumstances here. Two years after surgery and rehab, and his first Major League start, a no-hitter after 100 pitches, it was time to pull him out of there, regardless of the outcome of the game (whew! long sentence),

That's how it goes for the overpriced dodgers, reoccurring theme as the Giants prove once again which franchise is better.Since I was a boy the dodgers won 2 ws 1988 and the 2020 playoff 60 + game tournament. The Giants at a significantly reduced payroll has won World Series on 3 occasions, 2010, 2012 sweep of the tigers and 2014 Madison Bumgarner show! Give me my Giants, not to mention more all-time franchise victories than anyone in the big leagues including the little boys in blue. Go Giants!!!
