A very fascinating short film by, "clueless". I am an American and I surely feel honor for those who fought for this country in WWII. The US film footage of WWII has been endless per my life yet this war ended in 1945. Now, it is very amazing to be exposed to the German WWII solider perspective seen by short films as they too did there job and paid great sacrifice just as our American GI's. I also my say, the WWII German solider was as committed and honored their country as well and fought with the same as all countries in this greatest conflict of modern history.

I applaud the efforts here and this video. But a question comes to mind. English/American produced movies (with large budgets) like A Bridge Too Far where there is a substantial portion of the dialog in German - How does that sound to a German? Are the accents realistic? Are the conversations believable? Even some "recent" American movies like Pearl Harbor botched it. Americans in 1941 would not have spoken the way they did in that movie. Suspect they did that in an attempt to increase the appeal to a contemporary audience.

EXCELLENT video, with mostly great attention to detail, but if I might offer two pieces of constructive (hopefully helpful) criticism:1. The American soldier with the big, modern watch on his right wrist detracts from realism. I recommend buying an old watch off eBay for future videos.2. The German actor who portrayed the American officer, while speaking excellent (if accented) English, still sounded VERY German just by the choice of words he used. We Americans don't talk like that. We're usually a bit more sarcastic.Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoy your videos, and hope you make many more. Thank you!

Hey jmfa57, thanks for the comment. The big watch you see isn't a watch it's actually a wrist compass, used by US paratroopers douring WW2. On Your sceond point, we will try to improve our vocal skills in terms of the american english.

God made all people from one man, Adam. All people are brothers. Unfortunately, the lying and corrupt clergy is silent about this. They even bless Racism and Nazism in the name of God. The problem is that the Devil rules the world. He is a liar and a murderer. This is why deception and violence are everywhere. This is the reason why people cry over stray cats and hate their brothers. This is the reason why Hitler got the power, but Christ was executed as "blasphemer" and "rioter" by denunciation of clergy. This is the reason why the whole world is Sodom. That's why we have the Gospel about the Kingdom of God. Jehovah will put everything in order. He has anointed the king, Jesus Christ. The dead will rise and we will meet our loved ones again! :-)

Just stumbled across this. Pretty well done. Just a couple of things..... Americans wear their pistols strong side, not cross draw. No soldier ever would operate his 9 mm machine pistol grabbing it by the magazine. Too much chance of a failure to feed. Also, no soldier goes into combat with his chin strap buckled. The helmet is designed to fall off if it takes a glancing bullet. If the chin strap is buckled it stands a good chance of breaking a soldiers neck in that situation.

Bravo Zulu to GSP. It is really interesting to see our German allies embracing the facts of WW2 and reenacting history and preserve their heritage and the military excellence of the Wehrmacht without scrutiny these days. This is not a political statement...just an appreciation of what history has taught us. Denmark allows the use of the Swastika in reenactments as they know there is no political motivation behind it...perhaps Germany will uniformly allow that for the sake of authenticity as well. I did notice this battle location must be a gaming area for air-soft enthusiasts...note the air-soft pellets on the ground at 15:11.
