I disagree about Oct 7. Israel had ample warning, but did not merely ignore them. Rather they welcomed Oct 7 as a "justification" in the eyes of the world to commit the current genocide.

Unfortunately,the loss of Israeli life on October 7th did not only instigate a revenge reaction by the entirety of Israeli, it served as a time point that exposed the true sentiments of how everyday Israeli citizens had always viewed themselves and how they had always viewed the Palestinian people. Over the past 11 months, the Israelis seem to have lost the tiny amount of inhibition they had possessed to justify the genocide they committed in the most cruel and barbaric manner possible. The world has witnessed how deeply entrenched the Israeli beliefs are of their own superiority, how racist they are and how shockingly callous and inhumane. Many Israeli citizens have now fled seeking refuge all over the world while others blamed the Netanyahu government. But only a handful, including Mr. Levy acknowledge accountability while the majority demand an alternative government “to finish the job”. It does not seem to matter if Israel has been charged with probable genocide by the ICJ or that arrest warrants for war crimes are pending against Netanyahu etc by the ICC. Nothing seems to have brought this absolute unhinged deranged murderous landslide to a halt - not being disgraced in front of the world, not being warned by resistance groups, not the worldwide protests against the genocide, not the existential threat of WW3… Yes, ongoing complicity and impunity by the geopolitical west - especially US, Britain and France have contributed to Israel genocidal landslide. So has the effects of political psychopathic government leadership and years of indoctrination. But, there seems to exist a different set of underlying reasons. The vast majority of Israelis seem to have turned their backs on their fundamental faith - leaning too heavily on their ideology of Zionism or on Talmud teachings. There is also a an overt persistent display of paranoid fear of being exterminated. Whatever the underlying reasons, a pressing question is how to stop the landslide that may carry all of humanity over the cliff of human survival. Let’s hope we find the answers. Thank you Mr. Levy.

FYI, there seem to be a lot of words that those on the left like to use that imply certain things and info particular emotions- intentionally, even though they are not at all appropriate in the context in which they’re speaking of- the words apartheid along with genocide- both of those could be levelled at Palestinian society particularly under Hamas- however, are not applicable to Israel, regardless of how right wing their government may be at the moment. Genocide would be killing Jews because their Jews- Was looking to kill and kidnap on 7 October that was their objective kill and kidnap there was no war objective. A proper example of genocide and genocide intent. A apartheid- is the systematic two tiered society, not some undercurrent of discrimination, which is present everywhere., we’re talking written in law kind of like no Jews allowed- or if you sell property to a Jew, you get the death penalty- as far as I’m aware the 20% of Arab Israelis that have full citizenship serve on the Supreme Court and in the Knesset that’s not apply to them. Start using the proper language when describing this situation in particular- you people use language to manipulate instead of communicate. If you’re gonna complain about having no solution, why don’t you ask Palestinians that talk about the occupation? What exactly they referring to? They’re not referring to the occupation of Gaza or Judaea and Samaria.- they’re talking is real proper. Start listening and believing what they say instead of hearing what you want to and creating a narrative that you’re comfortable with one that does not place any responsibility where it belongs- when you have to lie, omit and twist the facts in order to create the narrative that you are trying to betray that’s a good indication that you may be on the wrong side of the issue- The bad face and constantly talking about the situation with emotional and improper language and needs to stop. You’ve no credibility.
