After the first review I picked up one and love the design. A little hard to flip open with the disc but I'm sure it will get easier with time. Thanks for the video !

The cqc-6xl is also a damn good Kershaw Emerson collaboration, been rocking that one for a while now.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't consider liner locks to be lefty-friendly, even though they make the pocket clip and thumb stud ambidextrous. Thanks for keeping us lefties in mind.

Just got that knife. I've been on a Persian kick. Cool to see you reviewed it. I couldn't figure out the emerson mechanism. Thanks for demo.

Thanks Aaron. I agree I like deep pocket carry over knives that are exposed.

I’m the same way. I like it either no clip, or a deep clip. Starting to dislike pocket clips haha

Charge me a extra 3 dollars for g10 on both sides of the handle. I know I know g10 wears my pants pockets. I least I can hold the knife and not have it fall out of my hand. The cqc5 best knife in this series. I have carried one for two years it holds up great, easy to sharpen, easy to take apart. The best part 22bucks.

I confess I'm no fan of Kershaw but I may very well try these

I’m the same way. I have never ever wanted to own a Kershaw, idk why but they look so cheap and generic to me. But I saw these Kershaw Emerson’s and I loved the designs. The CQC10K and 11K resonate with me a lot, probably because I love the hunting and utilitarian oriented blade shapes. I carry a Buck 110 S30V as my EDC, so I like a sturdy, large, traditional knife with a hunting oriented design. So I ordered the CQC11K. May get the 10K sometime if I like the 11K

Nice review!!I wonder why Kershaw and Emerson do not offer these knives in 9CR18MOV steel which is quite a lot better than 8CR13MOV.I would pay the extra money for the better steel.Any comments on this?

could you give me the conclusion and your opinion to make my choice between the 10k cqc and the 11k cqc in writing please? For me to translate, I do not speak English. Thank you

From 11:28 and after: _So, in conclusion, my final thoughts on [the CQC-10K] knife. Totally dig it. It's actually just about as wicked a slicer as the [CQC-11K] is, not as big and boisterous and just not quite as Persian inspired if you will. And it will have a slightly better tip for piercing, so...not to say that the 11K is bad, because I totally love it and I'm gonna have to keep it in the collection to EDC on a regular basis. But I think [the CQC-10K] is actually the better overall all-around knife, as we've discussed. [The CQC-11K] tip just doesn't quite stab and penetrate into your packaging or whatever you may be piercing as well as [CQC-10K] design does and you're still going to get almost the same slicing capability. [The CQC-11K] is just pure cool factor and just massive factor that I like this thing. [The CQC-10K] is actually the more functional of the two that have recently been released, so. I hope that kinda helps you out decide which one is best for you, or get both like me and love rocking both, it just depends on your flavour and on the day of the week, so. How does this knife hold up after a year? I have owned a couple "spring assist" knives and noticed that they almost always fall apart at some point. Screws get loose (or fall out) and the blade is wobbly. Yes, the knives I am referring to were under $15 (not Kershaw’s). Is this knife any better?
@RubleInnawoods4 жыл бұрын
This isn’t spring assist, so it would definitely have less moving parts to worry about. As long as you tune your blade and care for it, it’ll last a long time.
