Sold me. Great looking bag. Awesome review. Just what I need. Not too big, multiple configuration carry options and velcro inside for a firearm! That main compartment may even fit a braced pistol folded up. Stoked! Thx for the review!

I have the Grey Ghost Gear version and absolutely love it. It was a hard choice between the MSM and GGG but had to go with grey ghost because I use the molle on the back and the cords would get in the way. If anyone is on the boarder for this pack I can't tell you enough how beast this pack is and how well it performs different tasks.

Aaron thanks for the video the pack is the solution I've been looking for although its not in stock at the moment I've been contemplating purchasing a pygmy falcon 2 but overall it has everything for your needs just great for a day pack obviously a great deal of careful thought has been put into its design its a winner and I will now definitely purchase

Nice review. I also like the trim and lighter setup. I purchased along with the MSM stealth pouch. Lately getting away from the maxpedition packs i have, especially the Sitka. My Maxped condor is heavy to start. Like the idea of single strap, but they arent comfortable with even a small loadout. Wish the adapt had at least a minimal organizer/admin area. On the opposite again, Maxped often overdoes the sectioned off internal pouch organizers.

Pretty cool pack but I wish it had an internal compression strap that you can pull from the outside to compress the load. If I cliped it to a larger pack I would want ot compress it to keep it from flopping around on the outside.

I'm curious how the colors match across the various brands. It looks like you have "wolf gray" from vanquest. What color is the MSM gear you have? Specifically the pack and the bottle corset? Do they match decently well? Or does it look like it doesn't go together?

dwtlax I am not sure. It is a medium sized pack. I am 6ft 2in 220lbs with pretty broad shoulders and love the pack. Hope that helps.

Well I'm still waiting for it too arrive, I live in Yellowknife Canada. So it takes some time for delivery's, As soon as it comes is I'll let you know if I made the right decision haha. All my packs are in Coyote I wanted something that wasn't too tactical for the gym

Wish it had a permanent outer pocket for a Water bottle on the side, but the molly addition is not bad. the Inner pocket is pretty kewl..I like that ;-) Cheers ;-)

the rush 12 by 5.11 comes to mind. i'm not sure but the multicam 5.11 rush 12 is i think is 500D. also, direct action's dragon egg will be nice.

Thanks. Rush 12 is my current bag, but it's been killing me for daily city use. Not a big guy, it's way too heavy when empty (1000D). I'll checkout dragon egg. Just saw the MSM Beaver, seems great though people saying it's floppy due to no lower compression straps

Alpha Centauri no ensemble, just need a color that shows the least amount of dirt dust and cobwebs, I went with OD green because everything was out of stock ha! But complaining about the empty weight of a small backpack is weak sauce.

You won’t be able to pack everything you want. it all depends on YOUR system, some guys (climbers) may need a rugged pack yet light enough for them to climb with without weighing them down.
